Slowly coming back to social media. Primarily because I want to highlight @bdeshibou
‘s cooking. I am not back to cooking yet and she has become a wife, a nurse and a chef all rolled in one. And she is fabulous at everything. This morning she made the most perfect egg white omelette. She grilled this lovely piece of salmon to juicy perfection. And she has had very little experience in handling salmon. Every day I see her getting more and more creative with food. She perks up a simple bowl of plain yogurt with pomegranate. She dresses the salad with yogurt dip. All so I don’t get bored with food. I am lucky. #That

The question is how is this helpful for people who just want to be fit?
It is helpful in your daily activities. Say for example your in a train and you want load a heavy suitcase or a bag into the bag shelf which is above the head. This is where the role of overhead press(OHP) comes into play. In other terms Lifting heavy objects overhead.
It will also give you the advantage of growth (hypertrophy) in muscles if supplemented with a good diet But thats anyway a by-product.
In other words one must also train to tackle day-to-day life activities without getting injured.
There are also other specific exercises at the gym which mimic regular daily activities (hopefully will cover it up in my next post)
So i therefore request everyone to train/workout even though your goal is not for muscle building, aesthetics,etc. Workout to improve your life and tackel daily challenges like a BOSS👍
