Progress update: I haven’t done kettlebell swings in 2 years 🙀 • I’m now able to do 20 reps with a band No pain, no tension, no nothing 🙌🏽🎉 • It’s easy to get upset with not seeing the results you want on paper or in the mirror but what I want you to focus on is PROGRESS! • Girl, if you can do 10 push-ups and you couldn’t even do 1 when you started...CELEBRATE that!! 🎉 • If you don’t celebrate your wins, then who are you to deserve those results? • And I say that with love 💕. • Appreciate how far you’ve come and trust the process to get to where you want to be 🙌🏽 • Keep your focus on the goal but don’t forget about the journey 💯.
For the last 8 years I have not stopped. Eating for my goals and training towards the best version of myself is my lifestyle, it’s my routine. It’s not a 6 week challenge, it’s not a new year resolution and it’s not an off season and on season comp prep. One piece of advice I can share to help you get there is be patient. Too many people wanting the results without realising it’s a full time commitment. I know this is a “no brainer” but I really want to remind you all to be patient. Look at your fitness journey as a marathon not a sprint. This will take the pressure of you. Celebrate the small wins along the way like hitting a PB or discovering a new vein or muscle is also important in acknowledge your progress 😍 And remember every fitness inspo you admire on social media once upon a time had never foot step into a gym and had to start from scratch. #YouGotThis #BePatient #DontGiveUp #ThoseBabyBicepsAreGrowing
