Here’s my personal everyone! Crazy back story on me...This is my first Tacoma, I didn’t actually own one when I created this page, but I like being apart of the community and I wanted to see TRUE pro’s and con’s before I went out to buy one. I found WAY more pros than cons (if any cons at all lol)
So yesterday, I got rid of my 2014 GMC Sierra for this 2018 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Sport.
I chose the sport over the Offroad due to not wanting to deal with the black plastic around the fender wells. (My gmc had it also, it fades over the years, it gets ugly, IMHO)
And of course the hood on the sport is a huge seller to me, at the end of the day, I looked at how much I’d actually use the Crawl control vs how much I’d like the looks more.
So that being said, here it is! If you’d like to give me a follow that would be sweet, I’m BRAND NEW to Toyota and again, this is my first Tacoma.
Any tips/tricks/“mods” just shoot me a dm or even comment. I’d love to hear what you have to say!
My goals for it so far are, Tint, TRD Pro Wheels (the older model ones) some Nitto Ridge grapplers, and maybe a strut leveling kit. I’m huge into the truck industry but I also will Be daily driving this, so nothing TOO crazy will be done.
Also, for my companies that follow me on here,
I run/own @_trucklifestyle_ it is my main account and if you need advertising of new Toyota products or anything really, PLEASE feel free to DM me.
My personal is @mr.highonlife THANKS EVERYONE! -
P.S. sorry for the long story! Lol

I did a ready lift 3” in front and 1.5” blocks in back. After off roading I had regret and bought King 2.5’s with UCA’s and AAL in rear. Kept overload spring and height was virtually the same. If I would have just went with the Kings in the first place I could have saved a lot of money. “Buy once, cry once!” - 3 months ago

The nitto ridge grappler is an amazing tire! That’s what I am running on my Tacoma and the tundra. I did a 3 inch lift on my Tacoma and put some 285/75/17 on it ( I did have to do a cab mount chop) and I get like 17 mpg. Mine is a daily driver just like yours is going to be for you. Welcome to the Tacoma fam! - 3 months ago

The plastic fenders whether black or painted both fade over time. Js. 2006, 2012 , 2013 and 2018 Tacoma’s in the family . It happens to them all - 3 months ago
