On the first of the year I wrote out a goal onto white paper. “Speak my truth”. The idea of using my voice seemed scary and intimidating to me. I was coming out of a fog and a decade of hardship. I needed to speak. I needed to share. I had words to say. I’m compelled. .

Here is my first article regarding some heavy and raw emotion I faced. I shared it with a group of women yesterday and two of them personally wrote to me that “I was born to do this.” Thank you, dear ones, for that beautiful affirmation. .

“All of the memories of last pregnancies and lost dreams swirled around in my brain as I sat quietly on the beach in Japan listening to far away surfers and children play. I had no joy in my body. I felt like that piece of mangled driftwood lying there on the sand.”
