@pxthhetic well, now you're changing your argument but whatever. Enjoy the rest of your evening. - 2 days ago

@lumpy_bumpy_and_pals 3/4 women have NOT murdered an unborn baby. People who have had abortions are in the minority. So no, I’m not talking about all women. Good try, though. - 2 days ago

@themoonwoman93 it’s not that, it’s just that you lose all credibility to me when you can’t type a complete sentence. And you did read the rest of my comment, correct? Or did you just look at the part where I was attacking your grammar? - 2 days ago

@lumpy_bumpy_and_pals I’m not talking about all women, actually. I know many women who know that it is wrong to kill unborn babies. And I hate to break it to you, but abortion has killed a LOT more people than the Holocaust did. - 2 days ago

@asleep247 İf you REALLY need one sure ill agree. But other than that no. - 2 days ago
  • asleep247
@kanaydemirci I'm saying because the fetus isn't sentient, and it's not fully formed, a creature with emotions and memories, it's okay if you REALLY need to get an abortion. - 3 days ago
  • kanaydemirci
@asleep247 Exactly, by your logic if im not sentient im not alive while sleeping therefore killing me is moral, but if i have the potential to wake up and be sentient killing me would be immoral. Same as a fetus it might not be sentient but it will be therefore killing it would be immoral. - 3 days ago
  • asleep247
@kanaydemirci You're in a sleeping state. You are sentient, but you aren't fully until you wake up. You are sentient, just not in the period that you're asleep. - 3 days ago
  • kanaydemirci
@asleep247 1 Sentience isnt a determiner of life. That would mean i get to kill you when you're knocked out or sleeping. 2 Define "clump". Because technically you're a clump of cells as well. - 3 days ago
  • asleep247
@kanaydemirci the "baby" (clump of cells) is not sentient until they come out of the thing. It does not have emotions yet. No memories. It's not killing a sentient, feeling lifeform as long as it's not late-term, and late-term abortions are normally for the sake of the mother's health or the child's healrh - 3 days ago

@kanaydemirci you completely miscronstrued what I was trying to say. The coma paitent was previously sentient, and they're just in a vegetative state until they die or awake.the - 3 days ago

@_cai_w__ don’t equate hitler to women. And yes, you are talking about all women. - 3 days ago

@s_mason7395 yeah her body will never be the same again. There are the little things like peeing a little when you sneeze or laugh; having breasts that’ll never be the same shape or color; stretch marks and separated abs. My moms tailbone was broken during birth and a friend I know, two years later, has to wear a back brace to get through the day. Pregnancy really fucks bodies up dude. If you want to go through that shit then go ahead. I won’t be. - 3 days ago
  • lumpy_bumpy_and_pals
@lilynicole623 I don’t think you understand what pregnancy is. It can be hell on earth for some women. For me, it’ll throw me off balance and my meds cause birth defects so I’ll be taking care of myself by aborting and making sure I don’t bring a child into the world with horrible birth defects. Emphasis on not bringing a child into this world, period. No thank you. But I will continue to have a responsible sex life. - 3 days ago
  • s_mason7395
@lilynicole623 But see the problem is, the woman still has to go through mental and physical pain in the 9 months that will take a toll on her body. Plus, she will have to pay for the hospital visits and medications during the pregnancy, unless a family has already claimed the child before birth, and she has to take time off of her work for doctors visits and labor. And 438,000 children are already in the US foster care system, not including all of the private organizations. So see, it’s not just raising the child that poses problems, it’s the rigor of the actual pregnancy and the difficulty to find the child a loving home. - 3 days ago

@asleep247 and theres also a chance of the baby becoming sentient. - 3 days ago
  • nicci132
@bunch.courtney Its not like they can hear and feel the second of fertilization. That’s far later, when aborting is since long not permitted. I value my own life, that’s why I wouldn’t want to be born if I was unwanted. A life full of feeling unwanted would be far worse than never being born. - 3 days ago
