Forum Gallery presents "Artists by Artists” @expochicago
Our curated exhibition presents 40 works by artists who use other artists, including poets, actors, writers and visual artists as their subjects. From the earliest work in the show, a 1905 portrait by John Singer Sargent of socialite and writer Lady Alice Lowther, to Alyssa Monks’ 2017 painting of contemporary artist Betsy Eby, this exhibition reminds us that portraiture is as compelling and vital a discipline today as it has been throughout history.
September 27 - 30, 2018 / Booth #163
