**Insert inspirational quote here ** I almost fell in the river taking this but it was totally worth the scare 😅
Contrast, that’s what draws me to black and white photos. Sometimes color just can’t give you that same feel you get with a black and white photograph.
As the air grows colder I’m taken back to the warm summer adventures with my family. I can’t wait for next year! 💛
I think we’ve had the best fall weather this year. Hopefully, you agree and have been out enjoying it. Have a wonderful week!
I love it when the colors are mid change. Beyond beautiful 🍂
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
Just sitting here on this sunny, 70 degree day in October dreaming...
No joke, I may need to visit Vermont! 🍂🧡🍁 #Repost @kylefinndempsey
There’s so many things that make Vermont my favorite state. Partnering with @vermonttourism
has led me down beautiful back roads, through covered bridges & rolling hills, to cozy cabins, rushing rivers and abundant orchards with friendly people all along the way. Fall in Vermont will always be my favorite, because no where else I’ve been really compares. I’ll be back every year for the rest of my life.
Autumn. It has me feeling the feels. Foggy mornings, beautiful colors, blankets, and layered clothes. Yes please! /// Had the pleasure of meeting @marz26.
Check out his work!
The Needles at dusk, Cannon Beach, northern Oregon Coast.⠀
One of the things I love about my job is that not only do I get to help people improve their photo skills and show them wonderful places, I also get to learn from them. This week it is my privilege to take a very accomplished photographer on a private workshop tour of Washington and Oregon coast locations. This photographer is not interested in grand landscapes and glorious sunsets, but is developing a body of work using long exposures with coastal scenes like our fantastic Pacific Northwest sea stacks. Last night we captured The Needles at Cannon Beach, waiting until after the sun had set to get the glow in the sky and wash of the waves. ⠀
Nikon Z7, 24-120mm Nikkor lens at 58mm, ISO 64, f/16, 30" exposure with a BreakThrough Filters ND6 neutral density filter. Sirui tripod with RRS ballhead. Processed in Lightroom Classic v8.
This 75th Timberline & Pendleton limited edition blanket DESERVED a photo shoot ♥️
I’ve seen lots of photos taken from this location of Mt. Hood over the years and have always wanted to catch good light there. Well it just so happens that yesterday evening I was driving to Portland and the sunset was looking really nice. I mentioned to @codyjwinters
that I’ve always wanted to get a shot of Mt. Hood from this lookout and Cody went “oh we are literally passing that right now”, so we made one right turn and BAM!🤘🏼
Working on permits all day. Scouting downtown Portland all weekend. I would rather be here. Thanks for looking and following.
“Hey Jake will you go stand over here so my photos looks more adventurous” haha @jpsmith_photo
was actually already standing like this looking out over this amazing view. Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area is just unreal and the fall colors in the area are awesome 🤘🏼. I’m not a fan of Halloween but I guess the fall is alright.
The weather is perfect for exploring!
Chained to my desk working on Permit. Here is one from my beach scout. Hope your week is going well and thanks for looking and following.
Earlier this week I said goodbye to the first home I owned. And though I love my new home so very much, I sure miss my beautiful tree. 🍁
Scouting again today, here is one from my costal scout over the weekend. Thanks for looking and following.
The colors of fall make my heart so happy ❤️
Can’t ever get enough of fall! This photo was taken on our drive up Santiam Pass a couple of weeks ago. My favorite leaves are the ones with contrasting colors like green and red, viney maple leaves or the huuuuge maple leaves. What are yours?
The view from our new home 💖
Peaceful mornings at the Oregon Gardens 💚
5 years ago today I moved into this home. Today I’m officially moving out of it. I am sad. I am excited. I am going to miss everything about this amazing place, but I am so excited to start a new adventure...just 10 minutes up the road. 😊
I posted a photo of this cow drinking water my first day in Switzerland this past September, but just incase you wanted video, here it is. 🐂
Scouted the Eastern Columbia Gorge yesterday. Heading to the Northern Oregon coast today. Here is one from the Hummingbird in Sepia Calendar for 2019. Pre-Order link is in the Bio. Have a great weekend and thanks for looking and following.
