Today was the first day of #21dayfix and total body cardio is done diddly done! I ache nut feel so good to get it in early. I want to keep up my daily yoga practise too so I set the mornings for workouts and evenings for yoga as it's always helped to ssh my busy mind.
I wanna really show up each day and give it my all to start building those habits, for me but also to constantly being taking steps to create the dream life for me and little man where we are the healthiest we can be mentally and physically and were sipping on smoothies looking out to the ocean. Commence day two tomorrow.!
В бесчисленных статьях, книгах и тренингах по личностному росту, саморазвитию и тп часто упоминается большое значение привычек в жизни человека и то, как они влияют на его образ жизни, способность добиваться целей и вообще дальнейший успех. Относительно времени формирования привычки - все индивидуально, но цифра 21 встречается чаще других. Считается, что если 21 день подряд выполнять какое-то действие, оно превращается в привычку, становится автоматическим, больше не придётся напрягаться, выполняя его. Буду проверять эту теорию на себе 👐🏼 Первая привычка, которую мне выработать просто жизненно необходимо - ранние подъёмы. Это полезно во многих аспектах, преимущества расписывать даже нет смысла. На Шри Ланке вставать рано было легко - вечная жара, ранний закат и восход - все к этому распологало. Но в Москве для меня встать утром стоит титанических усилий. Так что начиная с завтра (сегодня я уже проспала 🙈), любой ценой встаю в 8 утра каждый день в течение 3х недель. This is how I feel today... miserable, achey, grumpy, CBA! I got up and did lower fix but it was the worst workout I've done all programme... too many modifiers and lighter weights 👎I am totally shattered and don't want to do anything but curl back up in bed (I won't... I've got to go to work) ... any tips when feeling like this?!?
Sunday meal prep in the books and we're ready for a new week!
Sushi has actually become a regular part of my weekly meal prep, since discovering my body isn't tolerant of many of the whole grain carbs I used to incorporate.
I have loved sushi for years, but was too intimidated to try making it myself. It turned out forming a basic roll wasn't as daunting as I'd build it up to be in my mind. It's also incredibly portable; I will just grab a whole, unsliced roll and take it with me on the go between gyms!
Never be afraid to branch yourself out and try something new (even if it takes you a new tries to get right the first time). You might surprise yourself!

Mental health is just as important physical health.
I battled clinical depression and severe anxiety for 6 years. Last week I was blind sided with panic attacks daily and I knew better than to push myself and make it worse... i didn't need a downward spiral. I took Wednesday through Saturday off from 80 Day Obsession to focus on my mental sanity and rest. It didn't help that I worked all 7 days and had to travel for work but I got through it.
So here's the thing, I could have focused on the fact that I was 4 workouts behind after following everything to at T OR I could focus on just getting them done and catching up.
This week I'm feeling back to my normal happy self and I'm all caught up! It wasn't easy working out for two hours every days but I felt SO accomplished by the end of it.
Set your mind on the things that make you proud instead of things that tear you down.

*Takes selfie to avoid 2-hour workout. Who else's carries weight in their face? I do and I hate it! Whether im losing or gaining weightmy face is the first place I notice. At one point I even googled face exercises 😂 it's funny but sad at the same time because I though short cuts existed. They don't. I had to and have to continue putting the time and effort into eating clean and staying active.
