Most people know me as one that loves our country, loves our military (especially my Marine Corps), and respects ones rights and beliefs; regardless of which way you lean. Being born and raised in California, and living here almost my entire life, I have just become accustomed to the tolerance of certain things; and the intolerance of others. I typically just keep my mouth shut and rarely get into political rants because it’s simply not worth it.
That said, I received a letter from the DMV today denying my personalized VETERAN plate for my truck because it refers to the firearm industry.
I am a FIRM believer in the 2nd Amendment and all it stands for. I am a responsible gun owner, have introduced my wife and numerous friends to guns and the proper handling, usage and storage; and continue to be taught by some of the best in the business IMO.
I’m pretty sure there are numerous plates out there referring to F Trump, sexual undertones, etc... yet I can’t have a Veteran plate that refers to the amount of grains in a 9mm round. Unreal. Rant over. #1stamendment #2ndamendment #freedomofexpression
