What a day! I honestly haven’t stopped moving since I woke up at 4 AM today 😅 It is just one of those days where I honestly surprised myself and am just happy I survived 💪🏼
Here’s a quick snippet into PF’s 30 minute express workout! There are 10 machines that cover full body muscles and there are 10 steppers placed in the middle. You bust out a minute on one machine, 30 second break, one minute of rapid steps, 30 second break and move onto the next machine 💦
I love adding in the HIIT aspect between machines to get my heart rate going! And then the sweat just starts to pour, and the calories burn 🔥

Just when I thought I had ( kind of ) mastered triceps press ups I get this new move as part of my workout!!!
OMG is all I can say... actually I said a lot worse at the time. However, like the tricep press ups I’m looking g forward to seeing my progress, so far now I’m work in progress, will report back in a few weeks my improvement.

Little man was up at 430 this morning and didn't go back to sleep. I really hope it doesn't become a regular thing! So I lost half of my mat during pilates. Otherwise he was really good and I was still able to slay (for the most part) my workout! It's just me and the kids for the next 4 days. These short morning workouts are that much more important in these situations when I wont have an extra hand in the evenings.
I heard recently on a podcast that someone somewhere wants what you are complaining about.
I used to be so guilty of this! I would complain that I didn’t FEEL like working out when I got home or that it would be so much easier if Dave could hang out with Sydney while I worked out.
Meanwhile there are plenty of people in this world that are physically unable to workout.
Today I am GRATEFUL I have the luxury of being able to exercise and spend time with Sydney (even when it includes wiping snot from her face with my shirt mid workout) 😜
There are so many people out there that would want what I have and I am thankful for it each and every day ❤️

Second session back consisted of a surprise challenge at my local gym with:
5x 1 rep maximum reps bench press
30 chin ups of any variation (the last 15 I was jumping up and doing negatives)
50 push ups
40 hip thrusters with 25kg
30 hanging tucks
The best time posted was 29:30min and I hit it out (and drenched myself in sweat!) with a time of 19 minutes 39 seconds.
I was happily ruined by the end of it! Give it a try! Anything under 30 minutes is solid and girls you can do assisted chin ups with a machine or a gym buddy if required 😉. Don’t want any one hurting their shoulders!

I’ve been having a serious struggle this week with nutrition. All my meals have been planned out so I would be set up to make healthy choices, but I just kept snacking.⠀
In the past I would continue to eat poorly and wait until Monday to start over, but I decided to use my trusty Shakeology for my benefit.⠀
I usually use it as a meal replacement, but I saved it for a snack when I got the feeling of opening the fridge and devouring everything in sight. So far it has worked and I’m not thinking about all the sweets! 🤞🏻🤞🏻⠀
