“I am from Detroit originally and ended up here via rural Kentucky. Since being here I have gotten established and now I am a manager at Spinelli’s. I have truly fallen in love with Louisville and especially Old Louisville. It is so diverse and the fact that on this street alone you can pass every type of person, every age, background, belief, everything, all right here on this street.
I wish food was more accessible for people of the world, I hate that people have to worry about food all the time. In this neighborhood, food is something that people don’t have to worry about as much and it is just something I wish for the world. The church here serves lunch everyday, the one across the street twice a week, the one a few blocks away does lunch and dinner and the salvation army does breakfast and lunch. The people here who need food can get it and have access to it and that is so important. Elsewhere in the world people can’t access food and struggling with an empty stomach is no way to live.”
"Don't let your past define who you become. I came from poverty, there were days where I didn't know where my next meal was coming from growing up, but my mom always made it happen. Even if it was a tortilla and retried beans, that was a 10 course meal to us some days.
I don't want my upbringing to define me, but mold me. I just want to help others and show people that there is someone out there where cares. I like to take the time and let people know they aren't alone in this world. I think far too often people are caught up on materialistic things and forget about the person next to them. A simple good morning could change someone's life if they are struggling and just need someone to talk to.
I am just happy with the fact that no matter what I go through god is there with me and will always be watching over my path."
i hope you all come out for this send off 🖤 it would mean the world to me for us to surround him with the dopest most positive energy!! for those of you who don’t know, i manage @1onewlf
as an artist - he’s signed to @nicocreative502.
we work together because i believe in his vision and artistry 100%. beyond the business level he’s honestly one of the smartest, most caring people i know. a visionary who impacts others through music & ideas
he’s going away for a couple of months for decisions he made and has learned from. decisions that others make legally in other parts of the country or aren’t held accountable for due to their privilege. but this is a time to learn and grow.
just know that big things are in the works and will be released along the way. plus he’ll be right back and things will only expand as we progress 🙏🏼
