How’s your balance?
Did you know it can improve with practice?
How about a 40 minute workout on a 10” wall?
have never been my strengths. I’m better at being tall and somewhat strong. But over the last few years of doing @ddpyoga
it has improved tremendously. So much so that when I saw this 10” steel break wall on the beach of Lake Huron, I started brainstorming of a cool pose to do on it.
By the time I got my mat and set up the camera, I figured why not do a whole workout and do EVERYTHING I could think of?!? What’s the worst that could happen? I could’ve fallen off balance and be forced to jump into the water. If that happened, I would’ve picked myself up and gotten back on the wall. But experience told me that I wouldn’t suddenly “blow a tire” and fall off randomly and awkwardly. Once you remove the fear, the #creativity
can thrive! .
I was actually pretty surprised that I didn’t fall. I wobbled A LOT, but only came close to falling at the end of #crowpose
which my wife happened to see. So, that is where I give whew and wave to her.
But in spite of some #dadbod
kicking at times (too much Guinness in Ireland!) I’m pretty proud of this. Hope you enjoy it and it can help #motivate
