• HIS FIRST BIG OUTING WITHOUT ME •
Easter Sunday meant it was time for Parkers first big outing without me being there. My Dad had asked if he would like to go and see the @adelaide_fc
play. He was so excited. Football has become one of his major interests along with soccer. With that excitement though came ALOT of anxiety. Anxiety from the both of us. We don't spend much time apart other than when he's at school.
He was up and dressed my 9:30am for a 4:10pm game. He asked me a lot of questions about how it would be. Who would be there. I knew he would be fine. My whole family were there with him. The time came for him to be picked up. He hugged and kissed me a million times and said I love you just as many. I knew he was anxious. He was quiet and withdrawn. I sent him off with a smile but inside I was worried. By the time the game started his medication would have worn off. There is bright lights and loud sounds. Both being some of his major triggers. Would he have a meltdown or become over stimulated?
He had the time of his life! My sister sent me updates, photos and videos of him having so much fun. I cried. He was having fun without me. I knew if I was there his behaviour would be different but I had to remind myself that it's because I'm his safe person. He sat there in awe the entire time. He was in his element.
He got home and told me about the whole day. I didn't understand most of it because he was talking so fast with excitement. He scoffed down his food and went off to bed.
He had the best day seeing his favourite team for the first time and I got a day with Zander relaxing and watching movies... and still dealing with the threenager attitude haha. All in all, he was happy and so was I.

🌟Hub’s heroes Round Reveiw🌟
Current ranking: 9,364
Small slide in the rankings this week due to a few key injuries and some uncharacteristic scoring. Milera hurt at half time on 43 really put a dampener on the weekend and Rozee + Parker combined for 109. **Second slide shows last weeks trades as we didn’t get to post them** Moving parts: with Milera our for up to 6 weeks with a shoulder injury we will look to move on from him and bring in Laird. Libba has another week in him yet and will be looking to downgrade one of the fatter cash cows to Will Hayes for a cash grab.

- Zach Merrett (MID~$704k)
He’s back on the rise. After a poor start to the year which saw him lose almost $100k, he’s back on the money making business with a 128 and 143. He’s a loophole option this week too, so get him in.
- Harry Cunningham (DEF/MID~$614k)
Who would’ve thought this guy would be averaging 96.6 and 107 in his last 3. His role is great, he tags but he still scored freely in the Swans midfield, and he’s got DPP to top it off. You couldn’t do it, could you?
- Jack Macrae (MID~$834k)
Unfortunately, the fantasy pig is losing money rapidly. After his bare 100 last week, his breakeven has risen to 147! He’s almost certainly not going to reach that with his current form, so more money will be lost. Non owners can lick their lips as he will be under $800k soon.
- Sam Menegola (MID/FWD~$594k)
This man has a really bad year so far. His role isn’t the same and he looks off. However, if he can find form again, this man is so unbelievably cheap and will be even cheaper in a few weeks. Us non owners will be ready.
- Will Hayes (MID~$196k)
He should hold his spot and he looks real good. His breakeven is so low (more on that later) that he will make extreme amounts of cash, and he’s a must have this week.
- Marty Hore (DEF~$296k)
He’s already made $70k last week alone and he holds his spot against the Tigers who give up a lot of run and marks for running defenders (most notably Lloyd 135). Should score well.

• Neville Jetta will be sidelined for 8-10 weeks after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus.
• Wayne Milera will miss at least 4 weeks after injuring his AC joint in Sunday’s match against the Suns.
• Tom Barrass is set for a length stint on the sidelines after undergoing foot surgery.
• Trent Cotchin has suffered a setback in his recover from a hamstring injury & isn’t expected to return till at least mid-may.
• Taylor Duryea will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a hip injury.
• Matt Suckling will miss 2-4 weeks after injuring his groin during training last week.
• Hayden Ballantyne is set to spend more time on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring in his comeback game at Peel.
• Callum Ah Chee will miss 4-5 weeks after injuring his quad in the NEAFL
Round one of the 2019 AFL season will be remembered for its number of upsets, but also for another record.
Three anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears equals the most in a single round in the 28 years that these injuries have been formally recorded. Interestingly, both previous episodes were in the same season – rounds one and five of the 1997 season.
Richmond star Alex Rance, Adelaide’s Tom Doedee and the unlucky Ed Vickers-Willis of North Melbourne each tore an ACL. They will all have them surgically reconstructed and miss the rest of the 2019 season. Vickers-Willis was playing his first AFL game since rupturing his posterior cruciate ligament in round seven last year.
All three round one victims are key defenders, however historically there is no pattern of occurrence with ACL injuries - they can strike any position, any sized player. But the high incidence early in the season has been a consistent pattern. The jump in intensity between the JLT games and round one of the season proper is huge, and will only get worse if the AFL reduces the number of pre-season games.
