In one of my recent posts I spoke about how masks in skincare are “nice to have” vs. “must have” and good routine should provide for all your skin needs. Well- following one week of hardly any masking while vacationing I must take my words back. It is really only when something is gone from your life when you realise how much you need or miss it! I loved my holidays and same time I am so happy to be back home and with every intention to enjoy my #skincarestash
and a true home facial/masking ritual- taking all my “big guns” out!
and join across the world! Thank you, Sara @coffeechamomilecinnamon.
- Unveil Balm to cleanse my face from SPF50 that I have been wearing every single day while on holiday. I have been using cleansing oils all week as I have them in travel size and thus easy- enjoyed the balm cleanser and left it on for some minutes to really absorb all the beautiful oils.
- Masque Vivant on my T-zone that really needed some attention. I did have a mud mask with me as well as a clay cleanser, however it is just so good & my skin needs this super clarifying mask! 🔸@biologique_recherche
Masque VIP02 mixed with Vivant for the rest of my face and VIP02 alone around my eyes.
Bean mask following BR masks- dose of antioxidants and light exfoliation is really what I need! 🔸@mynuface
- if it is a home facial, I go all in. Missed using this as I did not have it with me while traveling. I do not like the gel it comes with as it stings my skin, so I use an organice Aloe Vera gel with it. Excited that I can use it also with BR serums- will have to try it out!
SOS Instant Moisture Mask - I always like to finish with hydrating/moistursing mask after such an extensive session and this was is already a repurchase and I like it. It dissapears in the skin so there is hardly anything to wash it off with.
Applied a day lotion and SPF after completing my masking ritual- feel like in heaven and ready to enjoy the rest of my Sunday. Yes- I do need my masks and my skin definitely needs them as I could see signs as week went by.
Hope you are all having a lovely day!
