I’m not setting a date or time when I’ll hit these goals as I went pretty aggressive on my debt and it consumed my life. Which isn’t a bad thing because I did pay it off super quick but I also wasn’t enjoying my life and was stressed a lot of the time.
Taking time to enjoy life but will still do my budgets and save.
The money I was already putting on my loan will go straight to my emergency until that’s back up to $3000, so that’s $500 a month.
Dog fund will be between myself and my partner which is already over half way.
We want to go to NZ next year and I also want to have a general savings account.

Dream Journal Entry: June 16, 2019 I remember a bit about nail polish....one green and one purple. But some woman was trying to steal some and apparently it wasn't even the real brand so was an interior quality. I was the one who stopped her from stealing by calling her out. I think she fled the scene. I think I remember something about the colors being used together to make a rectangular outline that looked like a picture frame. .
Later it feels like we are somewhere that isn't home and my partner is doing something he shouldn't. I see him climbing the building we are staying in and going up to the roof. He does this over and over as if he is practicing and it is leaving blue marks on the outside of the building. But he wouldn't listen to me even though I warned him. .
There was something about how I took apart an orange couch...a loveseat. I knew we would probably have to deal with it and they would try to make us pay for it later. I dismantled it and destroyed all the pieces and made plans to leave my partner there to deal with it. .
I remember thinking or telling someone that I smoke once in a while but not often but I planned to quit entirely now. .
I remember L and her husband there and they had given birth to a son but something was wrong with him. I think he was dying now as a result of their choices and now authorities were getting involved. I remember seeing they had thrown away a travel case full of travel stuff. I guessed this had been prepared for when they went to the hospital to give birth but they ended up having a home birth and now things were going horribly wrong. It feels like they are trying to hide evidence. inside the travel case was a silver flip phone that looked exactly like one I used to have and it looked like it was still active. I looked at it but decided to leave it with the case. It started to make a horrible noise like it could explode. .

I haven't been putting too much time into cooking lately like I used to. I am still eating pretty well but nothing has been #igworthy
, or diversified as of late (eating the same meals over and over). I use to post a lot of my #foodpics
on my Instagram stories and the feedback + comments always kept me accountable-- to eat better, more experiments in the kitchen, and make an effort to eating wider variety of species to diversify my gut health by eating the rainbow (and colorful foods = not IG-worthy). Isn't it funny when you know that people may see a photo you took or something you have done, you put in a little more effort than you normally would. This certainly works when it comes to your wellness. We use to have Facebook groups or group chats to hold each other accountable when it comes to fitness, and same for nutrition!
I credit all my inspiration and the building blocks that lead me to my current intrinsically-motivated state to everyone who has ever spoken about their wellness wins online. Back in the day, they were blogs and forums, and these days, largely social media. If you have "friends" who get annoyed with you rocking it at the gym or or seeing your food pics... you definitely need to get those people out of your life ASAP!! Everyone is on their own journey and they are not on your wavelength (at the moment). Regardless of your age, race, gender, sexual preference, BMI, ability, lack of lululemon attire, health status, lifestyle choices, busy schedule or freakin’ musical preferences. I know, it can be intimidating and uncomfortable as f*ck going to a busy gym or a studio, especially in the winter months when the temptation to stay home is real, but you know what’s even more uncomfortable?
Suffering from the outcomes of your sedentary/unhealthy lifestyle choices:
❌Obesity and preventable disease
❌Physical and mental degeneration
❌Mental health issues ❌Hormonal and reproductive issues
❌Preventable or poorly rehabilitated injuries
With the right type of training and healthy approach to food/recovery you have the power to change this. You may also avoid future pains like:
💸losing precious time and money treating all of the above, once you’re up sh*t creek
☠️not being around to see your kids/grandkids reach adulthood because you aren’t looking after yourself
So don’t let the cardio bunnies and gym bros deter you.. they’re far too busy taking selfies and doing it for the ‘gram anyway. The pain of insecurities (your own and other peoples) shouldn’t stop you from doing what is right for you, enduring your current and future self experiences a better quality of life. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

A year ago today, a Get-Back-Up and Losing-Control-To-Regain-Control throwback.
In July 2016, I returned home to the Philippines from a -year employment in U.A.E. and still had the privilege to work as a Wayfinding designer for a Signage and Wayfinding Consultancy in Dubai. I was experiencing lower back and bladder incontinence issues at that time, a consequence of mismanaged working in an office environment. As part of the adjustment, access to a good working internet connection became a challenge as it was scarcely accessible from home that I used to hang out at cafes from noon till late in the evening.

seat support to help me manage my spine issues. Workplace ergonomics is highly important. I had damaged my back, I struggled physically and mentally and up to now, I am learning a lot from that experience, applying wayfinding in my personal life. #WhatAJourneyItHasBeen

Back in the time when I was working as a digital nomad, I was losing bladder control, with urinary urgency at an intake of a cup of fluid. But in losing something, I also happily gained friends, good conversations, and that made every working day fun. 😊
