The Everest Challenge Los Angeles was all about bringing an epic adventure to our own backyard. This challenge took something that is seemingly unattainable and gave the competitors a taste of what it takes to achieve a feat as taxing as climbing to the top of the highest mountain in the world. Here’s a quick recap of this year’s event, click the link in our bio to watch the full video on YouTube.

big horn sheep tee! Congratulations on another amazing feat!...She already finished the Fool’s Traverse on her first try, so this does not surprise us! 😬
Squints 🤓 Trying to fake a smile knowing there’s a hungry mountain lion stalking us in the bushes 🦁
Beautiful spaces with beautiful faces.
A perfect day would be to get into the car, drive out, and fall asleep because you’re the passenger ☺️😴 -T
Sunrise with friends...
I climb to challenge not only my body but my mind. I escape from my normal surroundings. I enter a place where you can feel cold, heat, thirst, struggle, and life all at once...this is what hiking is to me!
Rare bigfoot sighting at our Sunday gig. Bet you regret not going.
It’s no Angeles Crest High Country, but it’s simple hidden beauty. Cottonwoods and Sycamores hidden in valleys no one knows about that I can take lunch under.. To express how privileged I feel is to hard, I just know I’m lucky. I have a job where a National Forest is my office, and a 4x4 truck as my desk. I get to drive around all day helping protect resources and help people with everything from directions to medical aids. I get to make kids smile, and grin myself ear to ear. I have an amazing boss, a second forest family, and a house to live in. I can pretty much spend each day doing what ever I want, where and how I want to do it. With no one over my shoulder. This will probably be the best job I will ever have in my life. But I can’t stay here... It’s just a foot in the door. So hopefully I’ll move on up, get more responsibility and accountability. If not, it’s hard to complain about the Forestry Technician Recreation / Firefighter II gig I got now... #forestservice #angelesforest #wildlandfire #publicland #resourceprotection #service #happy #bestjobever
