#ArtistProject 2019 Untapped artist, Zi Wang (@wangzidezi ) will be hosting a Shuiyin Banhua (Chinese Woodblock Printing) workshop on Sunday, May 26 at the @ROMToronto. The event is part of the programming for the ROM's original exhibition "Gods in My Home - Chinese New Year with Ancestor Portraits and Deity Prints."⠀⠀

Our production is small, maybe 150 pieces a year in Edison, and a little less in Argentina. We plan to keep it that way for now. One person sews in each place under my watchful eyes and in Buenos Aires with the help and heart of Laura Cuella. The 2 labels exist to show where the piece is made. If it says USA first, it’s made here, if it says Argentina first, it’s made there. I sell the pieces where they are made.
