This weekend was a dream come true. 💛 I think I love these events so much because I really love connecting with people. I love it when I can convince someone to paint with me, someone who claims they can't. I love showing kids fun ways to paint without a brush. I love telling the stories behind the art and hearing how it relates to the people that ask. I love sharing a positive experience with a stranger. I love the energy and the music. I love that this one was in Austin. 💜 Special thanks to my parents who helped me get there with my trailer full of show pieces and then sweat the day away with me in the blazing heat. I can't wait to see what's next! ✨

Driving across the state today on the way home from a loved one's memorial, and finding myself appreciating photos even more than ever. As I looked around at snapshots of his life, I thought about how our future kids are gonna look back one day, at these times in our lives. And how precious and profound it will be to have imagery that not only documents how we LOOK...but if we can also show how we FELT/the relationships we have/the things we pursued...the moments that mattered to us...
That is invaluable. What an opportunity in this day and age we have to create stunning images to document what we are experiencing in our lives. .
So, here's a reminder (for you and me both), take the time & effort & money to get photos that document you + the people you love, as you are now.
Just did a little Sunday meal prep today! Because I decided to do salads for lunches this week I decided to prep only a couple days worth because wilted lettuce just makes for an incredibly sad lunch and no one wants that! I will be adding tuna on my salads and Stephan will be doing chicken salad on top of his for some filling protein. I also sliced some veggies for snacking and made spring rolls for a quick dinner option.
This is definitely a much more minimal version of what I usually do, but that’s just what I was feeling this week! I suspect I’ll be prepping again on Wednesday, which I usually try to avoid, but oh well! I usually only meal prep for lunches and some dinners anyway since I like cooking my breakfast fresh every day as well as a couple dinners during the week. .
I have been loving how much less food I waste since I decided to start meal prepping. It was honestly a financial decision, which I made before starting to work towards a more sustainable lifestyle, but regardless of motivation I feel so much better when I’m not throwing food (and money) away.
So have you tried meal prepping before? Do you like it or do you prefer making your meals fresh always?

HOW DOES COOLSCULPTING WORK
FROM POPSICLES TO CRYOLIPOLYSIS TO COOLSCULPTING
Years ago, scientists at Harvard University observed that some children who ate popsicles got dimples in their cheeks. The scientists—Dieter Manstein, MD and R. Rox Anderson, MD—realized that the popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells.
The idea that cold can target fat cells—without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue—was the insight behind cryolipolysis, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based. Book a consultation today
CoolSculpting Freezes & Eliminates Stubborn Fat
The CoolSculpting procedure safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells are crystalized (frozen), then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

Two posts one day say what?
But today, honestly the past couple days, shit has kinda hit the fan. And yet, other than a few tears, I've been pretty calm. Personal responsibility is a funny thing, and choice is too, as they both can give you the power or they take it away from you. Power allows for control, control leads to calm, calm leads to peace, and peace leads to happiness.
Ultimately, I'm just Stoked to know that I am learning how do this whole life thing on my own.
An evening well spent with these two!
