From marketing, to researching all the information required to quote, through to understanding the client's intention, audience & desired impact and finally invoicing, each stage requires careful thought. Emphasise the wrong word, use the wrong intonation, or miss off a zero & you could end up with egg on your face!
This lovely photo features my granddad (far right). He was a scientist, working for the Egg Marketing Board. Sadly, he died when I was 6 or 7, but I will always remember his warmth, ready smile, little round specs & his rather glamorous smoking jacket!
