There are dishes in the sink, toys scattered & plenty of things to get done & Im BEYOND happy.
Here’s why, I’m turning away from the constant to do’s & taking time to utilize the nap hour with FUELING Me & working on my passion.
Just a few short months ago I felt like every moment Joey was asleep was supposed to be “catch up time” around the house. Mamas can you relate? 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏻♀️.
What I slowly came to realize after many naps spent this way was that I was SPENT, EMPTY & FRUSTRATED at the end of the day 🤦🏼♀️ wondering, “Is this what it’s going to be like?”
SO I decided to take some me time.
I decided to make some promises to ME & keep them (even though usually they were the first to be broken).✨.
I decided to put my health & fitness FIRST.
I decided to put my mental well being FIRST.
I decided to jump back into serving others by uniting some of the most INCREDIBLE ladies I know to ALSO keep those promises to themselves. 💪🏼
I decided putting ME first was actually the MOST selfless thing I could do.
This doesn’t take care of the dishes or the toys that are exploded on the floor, but it sure as HECK helps me show up to those to dos with a MUCH better attitude and a more grateful heart 💗.
Where are you at today mama?

I CHALLENGE you. No I URGE you. Find something that LIGHTS you up from the inside out.
Leave the dishes in the sink & CHASE it.
Maybe you don’t even know what that THING is.. start small.
Take a walk in nature 🌿. Or a warm bath. ANYTHING to remind yourself YOU are a PRIORITY.
It may be hard at first ((I know)) but I promise it will leave you showing up to the rest of your day WAY better than you started .. toy tornado and all 💙😉🧸.
