They didn't give out the medals to the participants at finishing line. Instead we have to queue in a looong line to get the medal and goodies. Then have to line up some more to get drinks and guess what, the medal for both 4km and 9km were the same! 😭😭😭What the!!😤😤 The only difference was our tshirts and bib number🙄
It was a nice event but I hope the organizer can improve their management particularly the medal in next event, if there's any. Plz provide different medals for each categories as we run different distances
I don't have any complaints about other things as I never really paid attention to them😆

Muchos dicen: “¿para qué vas al gimnasio, si no se te nota?, ¿para qué haces dieta, si estás muy flaco? O simplemente te mencionan: “si no cargas más de 25kg en pecho es como si no hicieras nada” ... pues bueno, muchos vamos al gimnasio por seguir un estilo de vida, porque nos gusta o porque encontramos cierto “refugio” en él, porque nos desahogamos o sacamos todo el estrés acumulado y las preocupaciones. El hecho de que se nos note o no, es simplemente porque cada cuerpo es diferente y cada uno se acopla al entrenamiento, alimentación y evidentemente a la dedicación que mantengan. Hoy por hoy me siento contento por lo que he logrado a lo largo de este año y a algunos meses del pasado, todo es parte de un proceso, nada es de la noche a la mañana y EVIDENTEMENTE, es un camino largo pero no complicado que hasta la fecha me ha gustado y del cual no me cansaré, porque el Carlitos de antes se disolvió en un comalito con toda su manteca para no regresar. (Favor de pasar a la picture number 4, haha.) There are going to be days where you just don’t feel like doing anything so you don’t. Then you’re upset with yourself after the fact so you give yourself a little smack talk & say you’ll do better tomorrow. Good idea 💡 but then tomorrow comes & you miss again...self talk gets a little worse. You see where I’m going with this? We are our own worst critics, right?!?! 🙋♀️ So here’s the deal.....you missed a day, a week, a month OH WELL 💩 happens.....it’s just life. So just start again today, pick yourself up & just do it 🙌 Surround yourself with like minded peeps, ones who will encourage you, inspire you & motivate you to be a better version of yourself each day. I’m lucky to have that support at home & with my private online accountability group where they don’t judge only support & encourage us to move forward 😊

But, the truth is self-love is not a feminine or masculine topic; it’s a human one & it’s something we all need.
I believe the true definition of self-love should read something like this:
You are worthy and deserving of great things in your life, but that doesn’t mean you can’t improve nor should you stop working to do so.
If anything, self-love means you respect yourself so much that you know your true worth & value. If you haven’t experienced that yet then you owe it to yourself to work to do so.
Self-love is treating your body, heart and mind with respect and dignity because they are the only pieces of you that truly exist.
When you treat yourself with respect, you don’t neglect your body or fuel it with garbage, you care about what goes into your mind and you respect your heart by protecting the ones you love & the values that make you who you are.

Pro Tip for avoiding the “Sunday Scaries”: focus on what you’re grateful for. When you look at that job as something you get to do to A) provide for your family or B) have the monetary means to do the things you love or C) give your rescue dog the life he/she so deserves 😉😏🤷🏻♀️; Sunday night suddenly doesn’t seem as scary.
The more we train our brains to focus on the things we’re grateful for, the more natural it will become. Just like anything else, it’s a habit that needs to be built over time. Sure not everyday is the best day, and that’s ok. Find something good to focus on and move on.
Start by listing 3 things in you head each morning that you’re grateful for and go from there. I can guarantee you will have a different outlook when that alarm goes off if you implement that practice. I’ll even give you a freebie: 1. I am grateful I woke up today 🙏🏼✨ My favorite recommendation to start you on the path of practicing gratitude is the book “Attitudes of Gratitude” by M.J. Ryan. plan your work outs, and actually schedule it, like on your google calendar. don’t even think about shutting the notification off. think about how you can add in healthy foods, not take away your favorite snack. add in more veggies, yes brussels and broccoli. you will live, I promise. get outside, walk around the block, even if it’s just once. just do it, you will feel better after. take in the sun, it’s been a while. lastly, smile, laugh, joke, have fun. make happiness a priority. .
