Time to grow, to flourish, to regenerate. 2 years ago I decided to grow out my perm, and go natural. Just like.. a plant. Plants take time, right? A lot of time. Trees take years to grow to their full potential.
Our hair is like a plant. It requires water, food, and time. I will emphasise time because a lot of women want their hair long fast, fast, fast! Trying every little thing that promises to make our hair grow beyond our wildest dreams. Your hair WILL grow as long as you take care of it and put what's supposed to be in your body into your body. Start eating better, drinking plenty of water and your hair will definitely grow. Getting out of the mindset that you have to have to do something extreme just to prove that your hair can grow to great lengths. Your journey through life includes understanding yourself inside and out, love you and be brave enough to start new, don’t be afraid of letting go of an “image” create your own!
I use raw #aloevera
from my plants for a lot of things. Enzymes in aloe vera dissolve dead skin cells and excess sebum which can clog hair follicles. Aloe gel is also an excellent moisturiser with a molecular structure similar to keratin, the prominent protein that makes up skin and hair.
Flaxseed (also known as linseed) is full of fatty-acids and anti-oxidants which help to remove toxins and dead cells from the #scalp
. Boil ground flax seeds in water to form a soothing gel that can be applied to scalp and hair as a #moisturiser
that can help to stimulate growth and improve the strength of existing hair....
root oil increases circulation in hair follicles, promoting stronger and faster #growth
root is also an anti-septic and moisturiser, making it excellent for clearing up #dandruff
and other skin conditions which may interfere with healthy hair growth.
stimulates circulation in the scalp, strengthens #newhair
growth, and helps to balance the #naturaloil
production of the scalp, making it a popular choice for people of all skin types.
Good Luck On Your Journey!
