Scinic Honey Ampoule - An Ode to Honey.
I’ve had this product for goodness knows how long. Longer than I’m supposed to have it, that’s for sure. I would technically not be done with it yet because a few months ago, I spilled 1/5 on my floor. Tragic, but it was a sign that I needed to use it up. .
Why I love this🍯: 1. SUPER AFFORDABLE. I got this for around $10! And it’s lasted so many uses!
2. It makes my skin glow like nobody’s business ☀️I’ve gotten compliments about my skin the day after!
3. Although this may be a “bad” property of moisturizer, this doesn’t sink it 100% if the layer is too thick. But, I use that to my advantage. Some nights, I’ll use a thick layer to seal everything else on. Or, I’ll apply 1 or 2 ultra thin layers, and then apply a thick layer on top!
4. This works for my skin through all seasons and all weather and all skin conditions. I use it winter, then summer, with no problem of lacking hydration. Whether it’s dry or humid, this does the job! And it doesn’t irritate when I have active acne, and so I run into no problems when I have near blemish-free skin! .
🐝 So if my glowing review (pun intended) hasn’t told you yet, I’m in love with this product and with honey in general! I actually have the COSRX Honey Overnight Mask in my possession (just got the package today, haul post coming soon), and so I’ll crack that open in a few weeks! My skin will miss it’s daily dose of honey until then. As for this, definitely repurchase! And maybe this time I’ll decant it into a hygienic pump because the jar is a little unsanitary... but nonetheless, I’m the slightest bit sad that it’s gone.
Some textures ✨
Does anybody else hold onto certain items in their skincare arsenal just for the texture shots? 😂 I’m pretty good about giving away or tossing stuff I dislike, but if it’s a particularly gorgeous jar or bottle (or texture) I’ll shamelessly cling onto it. The Huxley moisturizer and Glossier serum are two of those items for me. Do you have anything you can’t bear to get rid of because of the aesthetic?
