A few weeks ago I was extremely lucky to win a pram for which I'm very thankful for. It was just the pick me up my family especially me needed. I am a self confessed pramaholic I love them, playing with them seeing what they can and can't do, how they fit within our lifestyle. I often get asked my advice on prams even walking round the baby show we got stopped by a couple to find out my opinion on prams. So here goes my first full review on here of a pram. We received the @diono
traverze in black cube. I enjoy building my prams, but this came ready built and ready to go straight from the box. The instructions if required are clear and easy to follow. In the box was pram, raincover, travel carry bag, instructions and comfort cushion. I was pleasantly surprised how lightweight (5.6kg) yet sturdy the pram is. The basket is an ok size for a compact pram I was able to fit a bag of shopping underneath, the basket folds out at the back to make it slightly larger and for easy access. The seat is well padded and j looks comfy in it. He can be funny about going in a pram but we haven't had a kick off yet with him sitting in it. With it being a compact pram the wheels are small but this hasn't impacted the smoothness and easy of pushing. We haven't do any off roading as it's not designed for that. It's great for holidays, shopping, quick trips, even the park. The handle height doesn't adjust but I feel it's a good height my 8 year old pushes it at one end and dad at 6ft4 both feel comfortable pushing. A couple of issues are where the mesh sides j likes to pull them out they are prefect for his little hands to mess with. I love that it comes with a travel bag however it would have been better if it came over the joints of the pram so when standing the pram up these where protected instead of being scrapped. The recline is suitable for a newborn and is adjusted by pulling on the straps at the back this can be difficult to sometimes get to sit upright without a slight recline. The unique selling point that I haven't seen on another pram is the handle that comes out from under the seat so that you can pull the pram along like a suitcase. As you can see j likes doing this.
