#MANCHESTERCITY PERSPECTIVE ON #WIGANATHLETIC 1-0 #MANCITY BY @flomotion_13 :
"19th February, we faced Wigan in the fifth round of the FA Cup at the DW Stadium and obviously expected nothing less than a victory after our solid performance against Basel in the CL.
However, we had troubles and it took us some time to get into the game. Wigan welcomed these failings and got a couple of good chances - especially because Danilo did a very weak job in the first few minutes. But we became stronger and had chances. Aguero was fouled (exactly like Kroos in the CL which led to a penalty) in the box... but no penalty. The first half almost ended as Sergio had his opportunity to score No. 199 for us, but a pure worldclass save from Walton kept Wigan alive. In the dying seconds of the first half Delph tackled Max Power and got a red card. It was not even similar to the reckless kind of foul our own players are getting fouled with, of course one rule for us another for everyone else. After 45 minutes it was still 0-0 and we were one man down. With every player giving 110% we went into the second half. We played better and dominated them, forcing them to clear via long balls.
Walker made a mistake, Grigg cleverly used it to make it 1-0 for Wigan. We continued trying but we were just unlucky and then finally we were defeated. I am not that guy who blames a referee, but after this game i just can say that he was terrible. Awful refereeing. There were so many fouls which must have been red after Delph's red card. Right now we City fans are annoyed.
We will have to continue, focus on Arsenal and forget about that awful awful game!

Where Are They Now ?
Reise Allassani was the golden boy of the Palace Academy, an England under-16 and under-17 international. Allassani was a promising young talent, but in 2016 Palace released Allassani, the winger was on the brink of a move to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, before suffering a serious knee ligament injury. Allassani couldn't play or train and didn't have a club for almost a year. Allassani is currently reviving his career at Dulwich Hamlet. The 22 year-old has been scoring non-stop for Dulwich, currently with 17 goals this season, Allassani is on fire. He is being linked with quite a lot of league clubs currently, Celtic are the most prolific team to be linked with Allassani. Allassani has a promising future ahead of him, hopefully is turns out well for well for the 22 year-old.
