I want to share my thoughts about passion because I don't want to be that person who is afraid to express who they really are anymore.
Back in university and high school, I used to pretend I like science and I worked so hard on those subjects. I would even spend every single weekend studying in a library instead of hanging out with friends. There's absolutely nothing wrong with working hard, but deep down I know science is not what I really want to do in life.No matter how much effort I put, I am not getting the results I wanted and I was low key depressed during this period of my life 😢 But I still have to fake it because that's what people consider "cool" or they said, "a degree that gives you a stable income". later on, I learned that it's not true at all, at least not for me. I like photography and being creative, I enjoy traveling and making new friends, I want to start my own business and not working for someone else. These are the things that I truly want. I don't care if you think they are stupid and gets me nowhere. everyone is entitled to have their own opinions, but at the end of the day, YOU are the one living YOUR life, not for someone else ✋️
I might not be there yet, but at least I am working on achieving those goals and I know for a fact that I am much happier than I used to be 🙌🏼 I will admit that this post is really cheesy but I hope that it inspires you to be authentic about who you are, and don't be afraid to pursue the things that make YOU happy ✨

Thank you Toby for reminding us this past Sunday that the Gospel is not about modified behavior! Only Jesus can change us, from the inside out, through the power of the Holy Spirit in us.
Thank you Lord for lifting the burden of fixing ourselves!
