I was at #chuckecheese
with my Daughter several months ago and watched another little girl try to move my daughter out of her seat while playing a game, then she pulled at the steering wheel and started making faces. I watched this "parent" less than 2 feet away, casually checking their cell look over, see their kid acting like a brat and then do nothing about it. Ok fine.... but then this little girl tries to grab the steering wheel of the game my daughter is playing again... this time my daughter blocks her hand. Well the little girl bites my daughters arm. My daughter looks at me, I look at the kids parent who watched the whole thing and STILL said nothing. I leaned down and told my daughter that we do not hit people, but if that little girl bites you again. You punch her in the face as hard as you can. Unbelievable. Parents teach their kids to be bullies by their actions, or lack thereof. I tell my kids, we NEVER put our hands on someone else, but allowing someone else to touch you violates your personal space and you 100% have a RIGHT to defend yourself. Bullys suck. Parents who inadvertently or directly promote aggressive behavior, suck worse.
