Im low carb so im weak and tired or i'll lift lighter weights so i wont get injured and it will get me more shreeded but then u just end up looking like A RIPPED STRING OF PISS ONSTAGE WITH A SHIT BACK AND BARELY ANY MUSCLE MASS INCOMPARISON TO WHEN YOU STARTED YOUR PREP AND MOVED GOOD WEIGHT WITH PURPOSE
BEFORE YOU STARTED TRAINING LIKE A PUSSY, PLAYING IT SAFE, MAKING EXCUSES AND STAYING IN YOUR CONFORT ZONE during contest prep. What built that muscle in your off season will keep ur back big onstage come show day!!! Ive placed 2nd six times now at Mr. Ireland shows and everytime the judges marked me down hard saying i had a shit back in comparison to my legs.
Hitting back twice a week focusing one day on different types of rowing exercises to optimise back thickness and one day on back width to create a better v-taper for the stage and now my back is finally growing.
PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD of weights lifted during compound movements like pull-ups, deadlifts, rack deadlifts, one arm rows, bent over rows and t-bar rows are the main stimulus of the added muscle tissue on my back.
Finish each session with 1 exercise targeted at blood volume saturation of the chosen muscle group. By using progressive overload of strength and finsihing with blood volume targeted training ive hit myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic hypertrophy of my back muscles to optimise each back session during contest prep.
