Well that was a bit of a shock....wind, rain and general dreariness today. ☔️💨 Remember that thing called a heat wave and all those complaints about it being too hot?!!! ☀️ 😓 Oh that was a nice problem to have. .
Well apparently Social Media usage rockets in bad weather so tomorrow should be an optimum day to post. 🌧 Better get thinking of something decent to write then!!! 😱 I’m off to pack party bags now...rock ‘n’ roll. 😎 .

Jenna’s theme is ‘creating space’ so I was mindful of that in pulling together the overall look which had to feel clean & simple
I used a rough script font which Jenna loved to give the unpolished and personal look & feel that she wanted, and paired this with a simple sans font 💫
I’ll be explaining a little more about the meaning behind those triangles next time

This morning was the first meet of the cross country season, for my son. Which for me, means trying to find plenty of healthy snacks for both before and after the race. What’s your favourite running snack?
There are number of healthy snacks that are good for runners but some of our favourites include:
Peanut butter - this is high in protein, fat and fibre all of which release energy slowly. It is good both pre- and post- race since the slow energy release means energy levels don’t drop as quickly during a race and then after it helps restore muscles due to it’s high protein content.
Bananas - these are good for either before or after the run. They contain a high quantity of carbohydrates which are needed for energy during the race and B6 needed for energy metabolism and muscles. They also contain large amounts of potassium which runners need to replace after a race due to sweat loss.
Peanut and banana sandwiches - this is a great snack post-race for both muscle repair, potassium and energy replacement.
Milk - this is great after a race for replacing electrolytes and rehydrating
Humous - This is packed with protein, B6 and fibre and so makes a great post-run snack.

Local 17 year old Next “insert any football star” let’s everyone know he’s in the managers good books by turning up to training after a driving lesson. “Yeah the boss has given me a bit of game time over the last couple of weeks so I thought I would buy a 200 grand car without a licence” he said when asked for a comment by some of his team mates who all drive the exact same car.

Being an 80’s child, Jenna loves a retro look and that came through heavily in her brand inspirations with lots of pastels and geometric shapes
The colours remind me of those sweetie necklaces that we all picked up with our pocket money back then...I used to love nibbling off those little rings!!
