sometimes means that at midnight you’re still up working.
Sometimes the hours just fly by, new tasks get added to your to-do list. You engage with different people. Today was a blessed day in many ways. Before, I used to complain about how much I’d have written down in my to do list. Today, I am grateful that I’ve been chosen to do.
Yes, there are thankless days and thankless tasks, but in the end the rewards are so sweet.
May you be blessed with many rewards for your efforts so together we can rise!

We are in Salt Lake City at dōTERRAs convention and having the most amazing time! I never ever imagined at be at their convention let alone doing the business and being here with some of my team. We’ve been laughing, crying, laughing until we cry, psycho analyzing our uber drivers, eating the best pork belly we’ve ever had, having pj parties, figuring out our enneagram numbers and learning a boat load about essential oils and solidifying that dōTERRA is truly, truly, incredible. You can FEEL their heart in this whole conference. I can’t even say enough nice things about them as a company. We all really are feeling so blessed to be here.
On another note, Check out my stories to see all the new products dōTERRA is launching! We are beside ourselves with excitement 😍

Okay guys. Stop being so cute! @alexmyluv
you guys are so much fun and 2019 can’t come soon enough, but relish in the moment and take your time! Life is too fast.
and I like to joking call ourselves dinosaurs when we’re out with other photographers. 🦖🦕 Not because we are actually old - I just turned 32! - but we are both closing in on a decade of shooting weddings and the wedding photography world basically moves at the speed of light (and also! We really love dinosaurs!). So! Take it from a dinosaur and perpetual mom (or, as @kristengrisham
says, Mom Dino!): GET OUT THERE AND MEET OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS! 💖
I know that it’s scary and I know that the photography world is ridiculously competitive and I also know that it’s really easy to be jealous of someone / dislike someone just because of their social media presence and the fact that you may have lost brides to them without actually ever knowing - or even meeting! - them. I’ve lost brides to my friends. My friends have lost brides to me. I’ve lost brides to photographers I don’t know and I’ve had brides back out on other photographers I don’t know to book with me. And y’all? That’s okay!! Photography is such a personal thing - sometimes it literally feels like you’re wearing your heart outside your chest - and I know that rejection / low bookings can sometimes make you feel closed off but, honestly, it’s okay to be vulnerable. Let your guard down and get to know people that know that same feeling! Take a chance, reach out to others, and make some photographer friends. Sitting behind your computer - or phone! - screen is not the same as interacting with people in real life. Get out there and let people know you!! You deserve it and they deserve it, too! 🎉🎉 And YEAH! I’m totally like the mom in Sandlot who tells her kid to go outside, get into trouble, and make some friends but I’m not even ashamed so I’ll say it again: GET OUT THERE! You’ll be so happy when you do! #endsoapbox

This weekend, after 2 years, I’m finally visiting my brother in Nashville!!! Well, Columbia so it’s close enough 😂 every time my family went to go visit over the past two years, I was always serving a #kelsielynnbride
and wasn’t able to make the trip. Not this time, though! I cleared my schedule as soon as I found out about the trip and can’t wait to get a peek into his life down here. I’ll be slower at responding to emails so thank you in advance for your grace! 💕
Another day, another photo booth 🙌🏼
Dance with me in the moonlight, in the sunshine, through the clouds, through the wind...to the end of time.
"If God didn't believe you can handle it, it wouldn't have happened. You are living God's purpose." @chalenejohnson
I keep thinking about this...
I am not anywhere close to where I would dream of being right now in life. Yet, at the same time, I found myself tearing up this morning in gratitude as I was taking my kids to school with where I am in life. And honestly, if you knew it all, you might think that's crazy that I would be grateful! .
Just thinking about the fact that God knew I could handle the things happening and that have happened, gives me so much confidence. It gets me excited because God didn't bring me this far to just bring me this far. God has me right where he needs me right now, and for that I am grateful! I will rest in his presence and his provision. I will take care of myself and my family the very best that I can. And that is living my best life. .
You may not be where you expected to be right now, but like @autumncalabrese
said this morning, "I think living your best life means you're doing your best. You're working through the struggles, you're embracing the challenge, you're enjoying the process. You find joy in what you DO have."
Just in case you were scrolling, looking at other peoples “perfect” lives, and feeling not enough.... I wanted to remind you that you ARE ENOUGH! Just as you are. Stop comparing your behind the scenes to other people’s highlight real. Stop believing the lie that just because someone has a pretty Instagram feed they must have a perfect life. That if you could just do x, y, or z, you’d have that perfect life too. Because here’s the deal friends, this life is what you make it. The grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it. So put down your phone and go out there and live your life. You are enough, right now, in this moment, ENOUGH.
On the surface this looks like an adorable styled photo of two adorable kids in @petitechoufleurdesigns
PJs (which it is!!) but it's so much more then that.
The mama of these babes volunteered to drive 346 km to bring her adorable girls to do this photoshoot, to support this little business and it was the first time I had met her in real life. She's been one of the many amazing supporters that have grown around me who cheer me (and MANY other local small businesses) on and have from the very beginning.
If someone had told me two years ago that I'd build relationships like this with customers I would have never believed it. I am so lucky ❤️
Today I met up with one of my 2019 couples and what made it even more special is they were one of my first families I photographed when I started my then side hustle. 🙌🏻 Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would lead me to this journey in photography. 💕
I can’t believe she knew from the moment she got engaged that I had to be her wedding photographer, even picking her date depending on my availability for the next year.
Thank you so much for making me feel special.
Finally finished all my chores of laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, and showering and am ready to get bundled in some PJs and work on some long due edits. Editing is a process I really enjoy as I carefully fine tune each photo and look for the colours, contrast, and mood of each photo. I still haven’t pinned down a consistent editing style yet, so each shoot I edit with the location and event in mind. To all the photographers out there, how did you find your editing style that worked across photos of all types? What was your process? Do you ever use presets as a starting point? Do you always do the same tweaks on certain types of photos? I’d love to start a discussion here. 💕 #marceilphotography

Thank you all for the sweetest words on Stella’s birthday & response to the blog post! If you’d asked me what I had envisioned for my future after I’d lost my Stella babe, I’d never imagined THIS. They told me the chances of having another baby with Trisomy 18 were actually greater with the 2nd. . .
I was scared when I got pregnant with Kaiyah. But THIS. 👧🏽👦🏻👶🏽 . . .
These kids dreamt up this ‘couch’ & built it out of my amazon paper towel box. They teach me to dream big dreams! Believe big & be hopeful! 🙋🏻🙋🏻. .
“Fear, you don’t own me. There’s no room for you in this story.” 🎶 @francescamusic
I had just moved to Fresno in May. Feeling excited, scared, sad, expectant, all the things. I Marco Polo with a girl friend of mine from Mississippi and I had just explained all the feelings to her. As gfs do. 💜 She also use to live in Elk Grove and had moved away from friends that became like family (shout out to my Elk Grove ladiesss!). Only for her it was states away. So basically she was my mentor through this whole thing.
Her Marco Polo following mine with all the "feelings" I won't forget. Because spoiler alert, I'm a pessimist. I don't want to be! I want to hope for the best, but I'm reeeeally good at what ifs.
So she just told me, "You're Gonna Do Great Girl." with full confidence.
This is a friend I have shared fears with, cried with, despaired with and prayed with about all the things. So she knows me. So when in a no big deal way she said that I was gonna be great. It meant SO much. And I believed her. I did. I thought well I guess if she thinks so, knowing my fear driven mind. Then ya, let's do this.
Friends can speak LIFE without ever realizing they have done so.
Have you ever moved? If so tell me in emojis how you felt about it! 🤔 Haha, can't wait to see.
Make a wish ✨

When you drive from Arizona to get married on a Monday in Colorado, Mother Nature gifts you with a rainbow. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. DePinto!
They were high-school sweethearts, dated for several years and while on His porch (the same place they shared their first kiss, years ago) Christmas Eve, 2015 he asked her to spend forever with him!
She said yes and last month, these two had the sweetest elopement/wedding ceremony outside the Clearwater Courthouse surrounded by their family and closest friends!
I got the privilege of helping them remember these long awaited moments and I’m sharing it on the blog today!!
Link to see more pretty photos from their day is in my profile!!
Happy Gallery Delivery Day Lindy and Alex!
