A 10 mile workout turned into coffee and knee icing.
After a quarter mile, when my body stopped shivering, I noticed my knee still hadn’t warmed up. I decided to give it 2 miles but when I got to the corner of the first block, I could tell I was physically limping and overcompensating. I turned around and headed home.
My fault, was shifting my long run to Sunday. Also, I’m still feeling out a higher mileage plan. I’ll hit up cross training at @fitnesssocial
tonight and see how it feels in the am!
I had 10 miles today and 10 tomorrow so I may try to do today’s fartlek tomorrow in lieu of easy miles...or I may be taking another rest day...either way, forging ahead! How’s that for adaptive training @coach___hudson
