People asked me what I have learnt from my #Whole30
experience. It’s transformative and very challenging.
1. Noticeable improvement in my energy level, digestion, and mood. I didn’t feel I needed that afternoon coffee to help me get through the day. I have chronic eczema on my hands every winter, and the eczema slowly went away ever since I started #whole30
and disappeared completely on Day 10.
2. I can decide what goes into and onto my body and it’s serious. I did dine out and even went on a business trip. There is no shame in asking to eliminate food that’s not right for you, even when everyone else was having that slice of pizza or forced to dine out at Buffalo Chicken Wings.
3. I invited friends over to my apartment and cooked together when possible. It’s cheaper, more sustainable and more intimate.
It’s amazing everyone around me was so supportive during my #Whole30
. I would recommend it to everyone, but I will never tell anyone how they should live their lives - ultimately it’s a decision I made for myself, and that made me feel so damn good.
