Elton Johns Fourth Studio Album “Madman Across The Water” was released in 1971 and didn’t have much impact. It features “Tiny Dancer” which didn’t do much atfirst but was made popular decades later when it was used in the movie “Almost Famous”.
This was the only photo I took and it was before show started. I wanted to be fully present and not staring at my phone. I didn’t want the night to be about documenting it. I wanted to LIVE it. It made me so sad to see how glued people were to their phones not even paying attention. One lady was checking her email... 🙄. That’s the modern age for ya! Anyways I got to share this experience with my parents... so this concert was well worth it! I cried I think every 2 songs on average. He played some surprise songs my dad didn’t expect... one in particular off of madman across the water album. But WOW! OMG. He was SO good y’all. His band, his energy, his piano solos had me weeping. Go see his farewell tour if you can. I’m glad I decided to see this show. 1.) bc I imagine the play time isn’t likely going to be much different from the farewell tour and 2.) I got to be closer than I ever would’ve been at the Q. Thank you Elton for a wonderful evening. I love you. 💝💕❤️ 🎹 #eltonjohn#milliondollarpiano#bepresent#vegas#ceaserspalace
