Do you get icicles? ❄️They may look pretty but these things are a menace. Ice builds up on the eaves of the house and then can come into your house. The fix? Proper ventilation in your attic space. Guess who called the roof guy today? It’s sometimes so frustrating uncovering problems, but after taking a step back and accessing the situation I know every problem can be handled even if it’s not something I wanted to deal with...
My favorite season in New York, but always passes so quickly 😒🍁
Had to stop into the @marykayus

Pointing my camera up to avoid capturing the dozens of tourists on this street >
This is one of the views along my hike yesterday. The Ramapo-Dunderberg trail, in its entirety, travels through my favorite terrain in Harriman. Some of the hotspots I’ve seen along this trail are on Parker Cabin Mtn, Tom Jones Mtn, Black Rock Mtn, Bald Rocks, Hogencamp Mtn, Black Mountain, Cat’s Elbow, The Timp, Bald Mtn, and Dunderberg Mountain. I’m on a mission to cover every part of this trail, and I have most of it completed.
Tiny toes testing a rug for Four Chimneys. When complete, we hope this home will be comfortable and welcoming for even the littlest of guests.

The view near the true peak of Twin Mountain. It may not be quite as expansive as the ledge to the southeast, but a solid overlook nonetheless. It offers a more direct view of its western sibling, Sugarloaf Mountain.

“I don’t believe in aging. I believe in forever altering one’s aspect to the sun.” - Virginia Woolf⠀
Today is my birthday. Another trip around the sun. I’ve always been more of a moon child, but these words are too beautiful not to share. 🌖⠀
As I turn one year older, I’m thankful for all the incredible things that have happened this past year, despite the fact that it was weird as f*ck. (Anyone with me on this one?! 😂)⠀
I’ve vowed to make this next year of my life a journey home; a return to my truest self; an opportunity for great adventure and deep exploration; a time to truly practice self-care; a space to write, read, learn, create, and dance; the trip of a lifetime. 💫⠀
Thank you for being a part of my journey thus far. I’m really happy we’re all here on this earth together. ✌🏼🖤
Last day in Miami— Can’t wait to start sharing all our 16 installations from Create & Cultivate’s #visionsummit
With 3 waterfalls, a deep gorge, and a picturesque trestle amongst much more, Letchworth State Park certainly ranks as one of NY’s most scenic sites

After working as a jewelry designer for many years, she discovered the joy of working with contractors and historians to save the beautiful, lasting materials found in historic homes and structures throughout the Hudson Valley.
