EIWITTEN Eiwitten geven je een vol gevoel tijdens het afvallen en ze voorkomen spierafbraak. Handig dus om er voldoende van binnen te krijgen. Zorg dat je dagelijks minimaal 0.8 gram eiwit/ kg lichaamsgewicht binnenkrijgt. Maar haal het wel uit verstandige eiwitbronnen. Zo kun je uit een bounty protein 19 gram eiwit halen. Maar dan krijg je er gratis 192 kcal bij en levert je 0,0 verdere voedingsstoffen op. Je weet waarschijnlijk wel dat dierlijke producten zoals vlees, eieren en zuivel veel eiwitten bevatten. Maar wat nou als je geen dierlijke producten eet en je toch graag aan je eiwitinname wilt komen? Welke producten kun je dan nog meer nemen naast bonen en noten? We hebben een aantal producten voor je op een rijtje gezet, waarvan je misschien niet eens wist dat ze eiwitten zouden bevatten. Why I think Auto-regulating Deloads when Dieting is a Poor Plan. - The number one reason in my mind is simply because a lot of the physical and physiological signs of needing to Deload are SO similar to that of diet induced fatigue.. - These can include.. - A drop off in sleep quality - perhaps interrupted sleep, difficulty getting to sleep and changes in sleep patterns. - A lack of power output / drop in strength - warm ups feeling super heavy, loads that usually FLY up feeling like they are going to crush you.. and taking far longer to recover from the intra session volume doses you are currently under. - A sense of anxiousness or worry - let’s not get this confused with pure anxiety, this is perhaps more of a diagnosed disorder, but a feeling of anxiousness, is heightened when we are fatigued, this can both be from dieting & from periods of high training induced fatigue. You’ll feel almost very nervous about each session, not normal nerves though, something deeper than that, it’s like almost feeling sick. - A rise in small injuries or ‘niggles’ - the things that you wouldn’t normally be picking up, become more frequent and start to interrupt session quality/recovery. - There are many more, but you will probably be able to pinpoint at least 2 which you have felt or are feeling now. - So the reason why I think deloads should be more PLANNED when it comes to dieting is purely because you can’t always accurately determine the difference between diet fatigue and training fatigue, so you may make the wrong decision at a given point, if they are not planned or scheduled - Furthermore, psychologically, deloading is even harder during prep than it is off season, you just want to train hard, so you’re going to fight off the need to deload for as long as you can!! - This, in my eyes, will result negatively in your end look. - Any questions or thoughts on this are welcomed! 👏🏻. - Shot is from my rapid backload prior to @bnbf_official Midlands 2017. - #BeEpic #Deloads @alistnutrition

Since I’ve been sick lately and had more down time than I usually do I’ve taken time to do some serious self reflection. . Self reflection is a humbling process. . It’s important to understand why we think, say and do certain things. . Self reflection is essential if you want to achieve a goal or follow your passion. . Take time and ask yourself what your values are, assess your strengths & weaknesses, think about your perceptions & interactions with others & imagine where you see yourself in the future. . Isolate yourself & envision the person you desire (& deserve) to become. It all starts with YOUR mind! . Knowing what you want is the first step towards getting it!
This is one of my favorite quotes to sum up why I workout! ❤️❤️❤️ Even though the changes can not always be seen by looking at me I know what I can do now that a year ago was not possible! When I started this journey I was "strong for a girl" yet when I actually went to lift weights I could not even do a lateral raise with 10lbs. Not very strong at all! Daily my upper back was causing so much pain and stiffness I didn't know what to do. Which made most of my early workouts end in tears, though painful they were what I needed to strengthen and heal my back.Today I am proud to say my back is stronger than ever and pain free! This year my fitness journey had a setback while I was diagnosed with Meiniers Disease but once I got the diagnosis I started to learn how to help myself. . My weight lifting and working out have become an even bigger priority in my life.
