Black sand beaches, large chunks of ice some radiating the brightest color blue while others remain as clear as day, and massive glaciers in the distance. The diversity that is Iceland is unlike any other.
Some trails just amaze from top to bottom. •••••

Nice as Bryce... Definitely had to add Bryce Canyon to my 2017 top 9! One of my favorite places outside of Oregon! This adventure was with the entire Wolfpack including my Mom who enjoyed Bryce Canyon even more than the Grand Canyon! There is something truly special about this place! But the blue skies are not to be trusted here! It was late March and the weather was perfect the whole way down. Shortly after we made it to the bottom, the blue quickly turned gray and started snowing hard! I had to grab my six month old son and rush him back to the rim top to the car! This is when I realized how thin the air is here and that the rim top is at 9000ft! Gasping for air, I made it back to the car as fast as possible! By time we took off everything was already covered in snow! We had to change our plans and headed south to Arizona!

One of the most popular hikes in the North Cascades, and for good reason, the Maple Pass Loop is nothing short of breathtaking. What's your favorite trail?
