• typical Monday filled & productive! (isn’t it every day thou 🤔😅) ... woke up, did fasted cardio for the first time during this prep. felt great ! then, came home, made breakfast & left to train my client at her place. came back to the gym & had an intense leg day with my coach. after the gym, got to spend time with my bestie, and ate all the food I was craving for all week ! off to work right after. 🧚🏼♀️ Monday’s just like any other day for me, always filled with things-I-get-to-do ! all the things that I really do enjoy doing.... I spent most of my morning today thinking about how grateful I am for this season of my life... 💎 I am blessed, thankful, and looking forward to the next day when I get to do all of this and more, again & again 💙 what are you grateful for today ? #gratitude #happinesslooksgoodonyou

A lot of times people get sticker shock with beachbody but realistically guys it is actually cost saving .... I know your probably like this bitch is crazy but here me out.... Planet fitness is probably one of the cheaper gym memberships out there but even with their basic membership with the startup fee, monthly fee and their sneaky annual fee your looking at $190.... this membership includes walking around aimlessly not knowing where to start, or what to do, and mindlessly making things up! I don't know how many times I have gone to the gym and watched people do things that are either going to cause injury or watch peope do things that is not working what they think it is.... yes they offer personal training but I am gonna be honest with you (I used to work at planet fitness.... not all these trainers are that knowledgable, educated, or have a "body builder" mind set)
Then you have people who choose to not go to the gym because of financial struggle or cost .... but are also not choosing healthy active lifestyle... and when you are unhealthy, eating crappy, treating your body like crap then that leads to more doctor visits, need for prescriptions, and more which adds up cause we all know health insurance does not cover it all (sometimes it covers the bare minimum) so now your paying for medical bills which adds up quickly and it can be all because of choices your making!

Chest/ Triceps week 1 Day 1 ✅ I have never worked out with my trainer before today or his preview workouts. His style is completely different than my other trainer which I like. I am so use to my other trainers doing the workout with me but my trainer now walks around and focuses on training us. .
I didn’t put music for a reason because I want you to hear what I hear while doing my workout. My trainer prompts us every step of the way, points out where we should be feeling the moves, what we should do regarding how heavy or light we should go, motivates us to push through and so much more. All from the comfort of my home which is the best part. People think you need to hit the gym to get a workout in but I can promise you that’s not the case. I got my HIIT workout done in 40 minutes today. Yes lifting, cardio and core all done in 40 minutes. .

back in January I kept thinking that by this time I should have filled up this calendar image with huge progress. six months later and I feel like that was just last week. as quickly as it went, six months is a long time and I still have the second half of this year to hit the goal I set for myself on new years. and as little as it seems, progress is progress. 🤷🏿♀️

it's officially been 10 years since I graduated high school...
I've been so angry lately. angry with time, my job, my self. a vacation from the usual, crippling sadness, but still unhealthy. In the middle of today's 13/50 pity parties, I realized a blinding truth: no matter how much I revise my m.o. nothing is going to change until I interrogate the root of my issues. I've come to a really hard decision to start #OverEatersAnonymous
meetings as well as seriously look into affordable psychotherapy. my life feels more and more difficult every minute and my relationship with food all the more toxic because I can't seem to cope without it. I don't want to give up, I can't... In comparison, I'd much rather choke on vegetables and strain my body in the gym. as fat individuals we're practically conditioned to for that starting in early grade school. but nothing truly you readies you for admitting you have a problem and following through on seeking help. because gyms, surgeons, diet programs etc don't make money on that. I may be posting less here, but I'm not gone. I said I wanted this year to be honest in this attempt and that was going to catch up with me whether I wanted it to or not.
in all of this, remember that your emotional and mental health is just as important, if not more so. our size does not define us. ☁️
