Today’s workout reminded me of two things: 1. I forgot that there are 57 variations for push-ups to challenge yourself...OMG I will definitely be feeling this tomorrow. 2. Just because you’re not strong enough to do something today doesn’t mean it’s out of reach for you. . When I was pregnant with Luke I was on modified bed rest and I couldn’t workout at all. After I was cleared to workout I couldn’t do more than ONE☝🏻push-up on my toes 😳. . In today’s workout I easily did over 100 push-ups and about 90 percent of them were up on my toes. It feels good to come back to a program I haven’t done in a while to see how much stronger I’ve gotten this year just from being consistent and pushing myself to be better than I was the day before. . But it has to be from the inside out. Preparing for spring break, I was unhappy with the way I looked. I would literally run 5-6 miles on the treadmill almost every night and severely dread going to the gym. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I changed the way I worked out (full cardio —> strength training), I changed the reason I worked out, and I changed because of it :) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ NOW I have learned to love what I have been given. Stopped trying to change myself but trying to better myself, better my physical and mental health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You are perfect just the way you are, but if you are unhappy —> make a change!!
