"playing the victim only makes you evolve into one" 〰️ read👏🏽that👏🏽again👏🏽. 〰️ I cannot stress enough how true this is. And I'm not just saying this just to say something inspirational next to a semi-cool picture. I say it from experience. For so many years I made myself the victim. The one that wasn't succeding because "even though I was working sooooo hard, life was just cruel and it just didn't like me"- like, what?! 😏 〰️ Let's just say it how it is- I wasn't succedding because I EVOVLED into an unsuccessful person. I was the one that was complaining all the time. I was the one who was comparing myself to other people and making myself feel inferior. I was the one relying on other people & companies to make MY dreams come true. I was the one who confined myself to that box. Until I had enough. I realized that if I wanted my dreams to come true, it was going to be completely up to me and no one else. 〰️ And today, we're here. Succeeding. Or rather, on my way there. I can't say that I'm perfect and never have that victim mentality show up because I would be lying but I will say that when those thoughts DO creep up, more times than not, I know how to finally shut them up. For the same voice I have that makes me feel like I'm not enough, there's an even STRONGER voice in there that says "you're a liar and if you'll excuse me, I goals to reach and an empire to build."💁🏻‍♀️ 〰️ Don't make the same mistakes I made. Learn to listen to that stronger voice. The voice that is constantly reminding you that you are enough to make your wildest dreams come true. Makes for a quick yet perfectly balanced breakfast, which is PERFECT since I'm pressed for time in the morning.
