Well, you are in the right place girlfriend! ✨⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I want to help breakdown that barrier so you can understand the basic, fundamental elements to what macros are and how they can help you along your fitness journey! 💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So, what are MACROS?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Macros stands for “macronutrients” which are absolutely essential for our everyday functioning! Hammer Strength Leg Press ✅ State of the art equipment really does make a difference in achieving your fitness goal. Here’s Iain using our @hammerstrengthofficial Leg Press during his Quads Dominant Session. His workout was - Leg Press 4 x 12 (increase weight per set) - Barbell Split Squats 3 x 12 (increase weight per set) - Duck Walks 30s/40s/50s supersetted with Pulse squats 30s/40s/50s (The aim here is to not let the knee straighten and keep the tension on the quads throughout the 60s to 100s set! I’m going to be honest with you. . By telling you this, I realize that I’ll probably lose some followers, and even potential clients. . But vulnerability and transparency come first. . Ya dig? . Cool - so here’s the damn truth. . I don’t really enjoy working out that much. . I’ll come up with a million (good) reasons why I shouldn’t exercise... I even do this all the way through my warm up 😂 . Truth be told, a lot of it started after my first panic attack. . I hate having my heart beat quickly - it reminds me too much of how a panic attack feels. . Besides that, nobody in their right mind enjoys being sore the next day. Let’s be real. . Despite these things, I find myself in the gym at 5:30am, 3-4x per week, lifting, heart pounding, sweating. And happy that I did it. . If you’re like me, the stuff you see on the internet with super fit models doing tough workouts does the opposite of motivate. . It makes me feel awful. Like there’s something wrong with me. . Guess what? . There’s nothing wrong with you. . Working out is hard, and frustrating at times. . You won’t always get it. . And that’s the process. Where you learn, you grow, you become better. . Where what was once confusing begins to make sense. . You start to realize a workout and a panic attack aren’t the same thing. . You start to realize that the first 15 minutes of a workout might suck, but it feels so good after. . A food scale has been a game changer for me and my clients. It’s the most accurate way to measure your calories. # I know many people, including many of my clients, are hesitant to track food, let alone weigh things like protein, cheese, peanut butter, etc. # But every single one of my clients that have taken this seriously has had a MUCH easier time losing weight. It just takes some concerted effort over time. What I’ve noticed is after about 2 weeks they have it figured out and it starts to become a habit. # I measured the potato, quinoa and bean bake and weighed the ground turkey last night and put it into my tracking app last night so there was no guesswork for me today.
