As long as you’re also eating foods rich in omega-3s, your end-of-day ratio should be nothing to worry about. Plus, tahini is loaded with tons of healthy nutrients like copper, which helps maintain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant responses in the body. It also provides 6% of the day’s calcium in just 1 tablespoon 🙌🏼

• banana - 3 mashed • butter -113 gms (melted)
• eggs -2 ( beaten lightly )
• vanilla - 1 tsp • flour - 1 3/4 cup (230gms)
• sugar - 3/4 cup (150gms) • baking powder -1 tsp • baking soda - 1/4 tsp • salt - 1/4 tsp • cinnamon -1 tsp
• toasted walnuts/ pecans - 100 gm (opt)
METHOD • preheat oven 180 , butter and line loaf pan with baking paper • In large bowl combine flour salt sugar baking powder baking soda and cinnamon , nuts and keep aside • In another bowl combine mashed banana eggs vanill and melted butter. • fold the wet ingredients to dry untill just combined . Mango Poke with Midnight Grains & Sea Lettuce Dressing
💁🏻 Poke bowls, a longtime staple in Hawaiian cuisine, just began making a debut on the mainland. Seriously, poke shops are popping up everywhere. Trrrrrrrrending! Traditionally made with raw ahi tuna, poke bowls are like the island cousin of the equally popular Buddha bowl. Spoon in some rice, top with fruits and veggies, throw in marinated raw fish, and you’ve got yourself a poke bowl. Today, I made this sans fish, replacing the ahi with mango! This sweet and earthy poke bowl combines flavors from land, like ripe mango and buttery avocado, and sea, like savory kibbled nori. Sure, it’s not your typical poke bowl, it is vegan after all, but it’s definitely delicious and a great way to sneak more fruit into your diet.
