Do you know that apples have the antioxidant quercetin? It’s found right under the skin. So don’t peel your apple. My favorite apple is the macoun. It has a short growing season. It has deep red skin with Snow White flesh that is so sweet. What is your favorite apple?

OMG! This meal was amazing! Went out for an early dinner with my beautiful sister @msktbee85
It was so yummy! Had the parmesan melt in the middle cake and buffalo mozzarella salad to start then we shared a bowl on gnocchi with gorgonzola, which possible the most cheesey creamy Thu j I've ever tasted and a stunning pizza topped with mozzarella bacon mushrooms and an egg! Then for dessert my oh my was the most delicious tiramisu I've ever had and a sponge encased in a lemon cream. We also ordered their amazing hot chocolate but in the end we had to take that to go so I'm going to finish that off shortly!! But the company was just as good as the food xx

Cancer prevention: What you can do…
Recently, World Cancer Research Fund Networks published their recommendations for cancer prevention.
Who are they?
World Cancer Research Fund Networks has a program called the Continuous Update Project(CUP) The purpose of this program is to study cancer prevention and survival research that includes diet, nutrition and physical activity.
What did they say?
Its about OVERALL healthy lifestyle not just one or two superfoods or supplements. >
Following are recommendations on how to do just that.
Keep at a healthy weight. Weight can creep up as time goes on.
Stay active: 150 minutes/week moderate aerobic activity and 75 of vigorous activity per week. Exercise IS the fountain of youth!!!!
Eat a diet rich in wholegrain, veggies, fruit and beans
basically plant-based. Make half your plate veggies and fruit.
Limit/ Avoid processed foods and fast foods which are high in fat (not the good kind), sugar (pumps up insulin which is a fat storing hormone) and salt. >
Limit/ Avoid consumption of processed meat (cold cuts, hotdogs, sausage, etc) and red meat (limit to 3 portions of 3-4 ounces per week or less!!)
Limit consumption of sweetened beverage. Have you noticed the amount of sugar in vitamin water??
Limit your alcohol consumption
Don’t rely on supplements for cancer prevention...eat your food. We are built to absorb our vitamins from food. However, there are times when supplements are recommended and needed.
If you can momma, breast feed your baby…or pump. No guilt or pressure here. >
What are your thoughts?? Anything you haven’t heard before?
Wow..what an experience this was..lush soft steak with spicy picante..yes please🤗😍🤩😋 🛡Sahara Grill🛡
The branch I visited is located in Ilford, Gants Hill, Cranbrook road.
So the food at @saharagrilluk..It
was pretty good. I honestly went to try the big old hunk of a cut, the T-bone steak and it didn't disappoint. Not in taste nor in size. I did have a slight issue as I asked for my steak to be cooked medium but ended up receiving the outside medium well to well done which was too chewy and felt a bit dry for my liking, the middle a decent medium and towards the bone rare. Even though my steak was only part medium cooked and not through out, I surprisingly enjoyed the whole steak. It was bursting with flavour even at the dry edges. I'd have to say even though they pour their made in house steaming lush picante all over the steak, even without it the steak looks and taste amazing compared to other steak places. My side had to be the seasoned rice. When you pour the picante over the rice you get a whole new dish right there. A whole new experience. I'm pretty sure they dont make mistakes on their other steaks as the T-bone is a hard cut to get right. Maybe next time I'll get that medium😁🤷♂️ Can't wait to try the lamb sirloin next..I've heard that's a very juicy cut.
The mocktails you see are the Sahara Passions. A minty mocktail with an exquisite passion fruit flavour. Lovley mix between the two.
If you're looking for flavour and quantity with a bit of juicyness, I would highly recommend the famous T-bone in Sahara Grill and if your feeling extra peckish you could go for the Porterhouse Steak which is a bigger T-bone.
The decor in this branch has this wonderful dark type of look with all the overseas decorations. 👤👨👩👧👦The service was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and helpfull. What I realised is this specific branch have the front of house managed and locked down. Even at busy times. The Whitechapel branch is a bit of a mess at times. Management over there need to have a re think.
This is a place that you can be at ease knowing everytime you will receive amazing service.
