Currently I love my oats with a spoonful of homemade macadamia-chocolate-butter! Did you know that macadamias contain extraordinary amounts of healthy fatty acids - among others the very rare palmitoleic which is especially good for skin and hair? That’s one of the reasons why I had to add macadamias to my top 15 healthy fat foods which I write about in my upcoming book. It also contains the recipe for this delicious macadamia-butter, but the book will be in German and so I decided to translate a couple of the recipes into English and to put them on my blog soon. Wednesdays are for workouts & waffles!! The cravings for waffles and pancakes after my workouts have been crazy with this pregnancy. Only my tummy is getting smaller (actually bigger but my stomach more compressed) making it hard to devour a whole waffle PB&J lately so I haven't been making them the past couple weeks. Since it's usually waffles for one I have been going with smaller stacks of pancakes instead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Today Mr. Whisk is working from home (we passed finally electrical on the room so S👱‍♀️ can move in this weekend) so I told him I was making waffles for lunch when I got home from barre. @realfoodwithrebecca ’s Vegan, Gluten Free Matcha Donuts topped with vegan white chocolate 😩🤤🍩🍵Directions below 👇 Ingredients: DRY: •1 1/4 cup almond flour •1 cup rice flour •2 tbs coconut flour •1 tbs baking powder •1.5 tbs cinnamon •Pinch of pink salt •1/3 cup coconut sugar •1 tsp matcha powder from WET: •1/3 cup maple syrup •2 tbs coconut oil •1 tsp vanilla extract •2 flax eggs •1/2 cup homemade almond milk GLAZE: •1 cup organic powdered sugar •2 tbs hot water •sprinkles matcha powder •Topped with vegan white chocolate. Directions: •mix dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls •then pour in wet ingredients into dry ingredients •spray donut pans with organic cooking spray •pipe into donut pans (use a ziplock and cut a hole in corner) and bake for 13 minutes at 350 degrees •let cool and dip in glaze

General Tso's Tempeh with a Kale Peanut Salad 🙌🏻🥜Last night's dinner was so good that I'm having it again for lunch today 👌🏼 Tempeh- slice and marinate in 2-3 tbsp store bought general tso sauce, a few drops of hot sauce, and a little water to thin. Heat a pan with about a tbsp sesame oil and cook the tempeh on medium heat until all sides are brown, flipping occasionally Salad- I mixed kale & @veggiesmadeeasy rainbow mix, then topped it with crushed peanuts Peanut dressing- 1-2 tbsp @crazyrichardspb peanut powder, 1-2 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp water)

Last night was Seared Tuna Albacore with Cavolo Nero, Pak Choi and Lentils. All very healthy and delicious. For the tuna, I marinated it for 30’ in 1tsp miso paste, 2tbsp sesame oil, 2tbsp lime juice and 1tbsp black sesame seeds. I pan fried it for 3 minutes on each side. For the Cavolo and Pak Choi, I simply pan fried them with olive oil, chilli and garlic. And I added parsley to lentils. And one of my favorite combination is matcha with coconut. WOW what a delish 🤩 So, for you today, a super simple matcha coconut oatmeal with refreshing kiwi - made in less than 5 minutes!!
