Super fun 5K tonight. 🏃🏻♀️
Inaugural Appletree 5K.
It’s all about the bling 🏅
Just finished #1
for my age group, #10
in men's and #12
overall at the Apple Tree 5k. It was super fun and I learned a lot about Vancouver in the process! Now to eat some Mexican food and get ready for my marathon tomorrow :) #appletree5k #fortvancouver #runforfun
Happiness for parents is children's laughter!😍🤗
On Wednesday I got to explore Fort Vancouver for work 😁
I got to explore the Fort Vancouver Post Hospital today. Wow! What an amazing opportunity! Thanks @thehistorictrust
Our beautiful lunch spot on the Fort Vancouver National Historic Reserve. All the best things-puffy clouds, blue sky green grass and trees.
Campfires and Candlelight at the fort tonight. I don’t know if we had more fun outside in the sunset playing hoop games and learning to use a WWI periscope or inside by lantern light exploring the kitchen and blacksmith and pelt storage. And these urchins! It’s so much fun to follow them around and hear the questions they ask and see the attention they give the interpreters. #urchinadventures #fortvancouver #campfiresandcandlelight
We attended a free event tonight at #fortvancouver
! A candle light evening historical re-enactment. The girls had the best time and have high hopes of volunteering there some day. My favorite part is always the garden, I’m such a horticulture nerd!
Plan Your Weekend!
Looking for something to do this Friday night? Head to Downtown Vancouver for the LAST, First Friday Art Walk from 5 pm to 9 pm, where local shops, galleries, and restaurants stay open late to have some fun! “Grab some friends and grab a beer – explore some great local art and meet your community. The First Friday of every month, downtown explodes with art, music and people from all walks of life.” ~Vancouver’s Downtown Association 🖼🎨🎭 If art isn't your thing, Jason Maraz will be here Friday at Mcmenamins Edgefield. Show starts at 6:30. Let him serenade you into your weekend. 🎸🎙🎤 The National Park Service presents its largest living history event at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, Campfires and Candlelight. During the event, the path leading to the reconstructed fort will be populated by living history encampments showing how people lived and worked around the fort during different time periods from the 1840s all the way to World War II. Inside the fort, costumed reenactors will portray characters who lived at the fort in 1845. Explore the fort by candlelight and get a glimpse of what life would have been like nearly 175 years ago. ⏳🗝
Make sure you come see us cheering for varsity volleyball tomorrow (9/4/18) at 7pm @ Fort vs Hockinson! [C-team also plays at 4 and JV at 5:30!]
