Do you remember the Steve Jobs and the Apple Story? Do you remember how he was fired from Apple due to a power struggle between Sculley and Jobs, wherein Apple's board sided with the CEO, removing Jobs from his command of the Macintosh group? Do you also remember his return to Apple exactly 10 years later to become the CEO of one of the most ambitious and impactful company to be, in the 21st centure? Now, do you remember your first failure, or maybe your most recent one? Do you look at it in abhorrance or do you actually acknowledge where you went wrong? How do failures help us build our character as an entrepreneur? Or for that matter, make us look more "relatable" or more "human" to others around us? .
The biggest setback to any entrepreneurial hustle is not the lack of required resources or knowledge, but encountering failures on the way to achieve success. We as humans are not as much disappointed with makeshit arrangements to keep the hustle going, as much we are when we arrive at a dead end, with no where to go. Failures in entrepreneurship are inevitable and it is these failures that help us mettle our resolve to make it to the big picture, redefining our character to confront the challenges that lie ahead of us. .
I have been on the receiving end of failures more often than not, all through my life. As early as failing my high school examinations, to shutting down my first business venture in 06 months, backed up by another failed partnership venture effort with friends, I have largely relied on these failures to shape my personality and thinking in a much more optimistic mannerism. .

6 months until 30. I’m not afraid, I’m more than READY. I’ve been working my butt off preparing to leave a legacy for our future. There’s no room to “chill”, no room to worry about who doesn’t “like” my pictures, who doesn’t comment on my posts or support my work or “fake” support me. I’ve been too busy to worry about competition because no one has a work ethic like me, morals like me or values like me. I’ve been too busy for distractions. Our children will know how hard their parents worked to leave them a legacy to continue to build. This is only my beginning. This is the Road to 30. 👊🏾 #LegacyBuilding #Passion #Purpose #Grind
Vintage D Rose put on a show tonight 🔥
Everything I’m doing, I’m doing for myself. Not necessarily in a selfish way, but I just know what I deserve and I’m NOT settling for any less 👸🏼
I can’t be around negative, unmotivated, and closed minded people who just gossip anymore. I’ve found a team of boss babes that are absolutely KILLIN’ IT with their goals and businesses, which is why I can never go back 😌 We all have our own goals, our own businesses, control our own lives, and we cheer each other on everyday. It’s not a competition, but a learning environment. If you need help reaching a goal, someone is right there trying to reach the same goal and another who has already done it who can help guide you 🙌🏼 They’ve proven to me that even though this is MY journey, I don’t have to do it alone. I’ve never been close to other girls before, so this is all new to me but I am IN LOVEEE with all these new relationships. Ask me how you can join the magic 💕
We had an AMAZING time at the Kids Expo today! I appreciate everyone who supported #JZsweets

Do you associate food as “good” or “bad”? 🤔🤔
We are unknowingly creating unhealthy relationships with food by categorizing them as good or bad. When we eat something that we think is “bad”, we think we just committed a heinous crime; so we often try to deprive ourselves of any of those “trigger” foods 😳🍔🍗🍪🍻
The restriction doesn’t end well. It makes you crave those foods even more and that’s what caused nearly all of my binge eating episodes 🥀😓
Yes, some foods carry less nutritional value than others but restricting from them is not the completely correct answer 💭☝🏼
Food gives us energy, happiness, and it brings people together. You can have the foods you love while still reaching your goals. Just remember the keywords: “balance” and “moderation”. This is where the 80/20 rule for me comes in handy 📖
Food is not the enemy. You are in control. Not food. Don’t allow food to make or break your days. It is easy to be consumed by the guilt when we do slip up, but it’s okay. Get right back on track with your normal routine, don’t overdo it and go on a guilt cardio craze. Let go of the guilt and understand that one thing can’t ruin everything. Your progress is still present, not lost 🤸🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️
