Hi there, I haven’t posted on this account in over a year and I really appreciate everyone who has continued to follow me anyway. Maybe you just forgot or maybe you had hope this whole time that I’d start posting again... lol, I’d like to go with the later! I’ve been making all kinds of art this whole time but putting more energy into flow arts then visual arts. But I’ve recently found myself taking more time to put pencil to paper and I’d like to start sharing my drawings and creations here again! Here’s a self portrait #wip I did back in December reflecting on my last two years living in DC and all the growth and change I’ve experienced here. I’ll call it, Here We Grow, for now. 🌱#sketchbook#workinprogress
Have you ever had a time in your life when it feels like everything is going wrong and you feel like the universe is testing you? Perhaps those struggles were just a part of your journey. Perhaps like this #aloe plant, there’s #healing and incredible things inside. When life is throwing you #challenges take a step back and remember, you are #growing and becoming stronger and wiser. When the dust has settled, you can look back and learn from your #struggles and often there’s light and wonderful things to come, you just have to #believe !
What a great deal!!
💧Aromatouch is so great for legs that won’t stop and I actually keep this one in my kids room for when they wake up at night from the occasional pains of growing too fast.
💧Marjoram is a great addition to the diffuser at night and is also really supportive of muscles. Add to Frank and Lemongrass to create a super combo for occasional pain relief!
Message me today before 9pm CST to get yours!
I am trying yet another technic for printmaking and I am so happy about the result! What do you think? This time I have worked with modern non-toxic photopolymer gravure on one plate and traditiomal, toxic aquatint etching on another plate, combining the two plates and so having the final motive. I wanted to use a combination of these two tecnics, because it symbolizes the reality of life; both modern and traditional, both toxic and non-toxic, both good and bad, never just one thing. For me this piece of art work is about transformation and growth, learning from all the experiences in life, finding your true self, step by step. Coming into the light. We never stop growing up. I was thinking of calling this piece «Coming out», but I am unsure if this expression only refers to sexual identity...or can it be used on ALL aspects of life with finding yourself, being true to your inner voice and showing the world your true identity..? Any English speaking out there who can answer this? Any other suggestions on what I should call this piece of art work? Thank you ❤️

My testimony may not be as dramatic as some, but I know that in God's eyes there's not one person's testimony that is better than anyone else's because they all have point in common: He is our Testimony--He is the Author and the subject of each one when we allow His love into our hearts to change our lives. I have had my share of trials and tribulations, and at times felt very uncomfortable in my Christian walk. But now I see that's how God wanted it! He already had a purpose, a place and a plan for me before I even knew He was there! I didn't fit there because that's not where I belonged. There never has been, and never will be, anything like singing with the anointing of the Holy Ghost about His love, His power and His Heaven. I love to read, but I found a better Book, and God has blessed me with knowledge of His Word that not everybody has. I used to want better friends, but glory to God, I found a Friend that sticks closer than a brother! A Friend that loves at all times! A Friend who promised, I am with you always, even unto the end. But the most importantly thru all of this I found....ME! I am far from perfect and I have the ability to improve. You can either help me along the way or watch me in my cocoon stages preparing for my transformation.......Enjoy your Wednesday! #growing !
We all have a circle
We probably love our circle and enjoy their company. It’s probably made up of close friends and relatives, for some even co-workers.. and they do say that you are the average of the top 5 people you spend the most time with. But are these people really people you SHOULD have in your circle?
Do they actually clap for you when you’re winning? Do they care about your success? And most importantly, is that care and happiness for you genuine?
If you even question their sincerity in how much they actually want to see you win, you may need a new circle...
You want to surround yourself with people who actually want to see you win! If you own a business or are even just doing something good for yourself on a personal level, you should be able to talk about it confidently with your circle and feel a genuine level of support from them at the very least. We’re already hard enough on ourselves that we don’t need other people putting us down and making us feel like we can’t do it or aren’t good enough!!! So take some time to re-evaluate your circle and edit it (as hard as it may be) and trust that you are in the right path even if you’re left with a small circle. No circle is better than a toxic one! 🙅🏽♀️
