# DIY - pH Restoring Hair Wash
Our Skin has a pH of 4.5-5.5 and our scalp’s range is 4-7 (making it slightly acidic). Shampooing your hair frequently strips our scalp of its natural healthy oils which in turn disturbs the pH levels of our skin (making it more alkaline) and contributes to poor scalp health (dandruff, build up, damaged hair follicles i.e. hair fall)
So start training your hair for washes every third day and try this diy pH restoring hair wash at least once a week.
Whisk together 2 Tbsp raw honey, 1 tsp sweet almond oil and 1 can of coconut milk with Optional 10 drops lavender essential oil. Use as you would any normal shampoo and rinse your hair.
You can store at room temperature or in the fridge and remember to shake well before use.
Always do a patch test before trying out any DIYs.
