Adventures in wood turning. I was at one point trying to make a Christmas tree, the wood exploded so I made a mushroom. Oh well it was literally a branch from my backyard. #nomistakes #happyaccidents
Day 349 of 364 Days of Gratitude. When a largely unplanned day turns into a series of spontaneous happinesses. It all started with a text chat with my lovely Mama, who asked if I'd like to get together for brunch. Of course!!! So that led to an earlier-than-I-might-have-gone walk around the loop I live on, which included a stop at the neighbor's house who did the good deed recently, so I could drop off the card and little gifts I picked up in thanks for said deed. A lovely interaction ensued... resulting in what seems to be spontaneously becoming a promising friendship. I go on to meet my Mom, and while we wait for our breakfast, I see my son and his Dad pull up at the shop next door. Yay!!! I spontaneously get the chance to see my boy for the second day in a row and be on the receiving end of two of his amazing hugs. Spontaneous, out of the blue events today led to some wonderful surprises. You just have to say yes to things when they are presented to you, or when you think of them. Just... say... yes. You never know what the spin-off's may be. 😊 #gratitude #364daysofgratitude #outoftheblue #sayyes #happyaccidents #spontenaity #besthugs #friendship #goodsamaritan #greatday
Sometimes the phone takes its own shots... one of few color exposures you'll ever see from me.

Candied Fest day one part one. Little Geronimo, Hora Douse, Runner’s High, and Happy Accidents.
Another little pour painting that turned out pretty alright! This one is in need of a new home!! (Swipe for details!)
Some designs are happy accidents. These pearl earrings were pretty much inspired by a large shell I found by the Norwegian coast that led me to think of Botticelli's birth of Venus as she stood on a scallop clam. Boom! Made earrings that reflected image in my brain. 🔅Btw...that swinging lady in pink marshmallow dress is one of the most famous rococo paintings named The Happy Accidents of the Swing by Jean-Honor Fragonard
