Various regions in india practised blockprinting. Each region had its own speciality of technique art and form.
However only natural source colours were used up until 20th century.
Here you see a hand spun hand woven fabric , blockprinted in mud resist form. Combination of nut , leaves and root complete the colour process... The colour source is myraballam , madder , and indigo leaves

💫 Breathing Exercises- Deep breathing is one of the best ways to lower stress in the body. This is because when you breathe deeply, it sends a message to your brain to calm down and relax. The brain then sends this message to your body. Those things that happen when you are stressed, such as increased heart rate, fast breathing, and high blood pressure, all decrease as you breathe deeply to relax. Simply take a few deep breathes in through your nose, filling up your lungs as much as you can and then slowly exhale through your mouth. Repeat a few times. These are especially great because you can practice these exercises anywhere.

Being in hot & humid Singapore means we struggle with mildew often. Especially in my home office because it is next to our main bathroom.

I am a big water drinker and love it, but I know not everyone does. If you are not a water lover, try adding flavor to your water naturally. Make it more interesting by adding your favorite fruit like lemon, strawberries, raspberries and even cucumbers! It can add wonderful flavor and help drinking more water easier.

Do you know where your oil is sourced or grown? Is it the best place in the world for that plant to grow? Or does the company own their own farms and just grow everything in one space? Are the harvesters paid a fair wage? Or do they have to go through a broker? Does the company take care of the farmers, harvesters and distillers by providing clean drinking water, schools and medical clinics? Is the plant harvested at the right time of the day and the right temperature? Does the company have any exclusive rights to the material being harvested?Who tests the oils? How many tests do the oils go through to ensure purity and potency? Is there checks and balances in place for the quality and purity of testing the oils? When you buy the bottle of oil is it impacting people all around the world? Is it truly what it says it is? Meaning is it 100% pure with complete transparency and there is Nothing added?!
Do they release their test reports with nothing to hide?
I consider all these questions to be important when choosing to purchase an essential oil. Don't be fooled by misleading labels and main stream big box retailers trying to sell essential oils. Did you know you can't even purchase doterra in a store, there's a reason for that 😉
Empōwer yourself with knowledge and educate yourself about what you're buying and using. This applies to anything in your life not just when it comes to essential oils. The most important part of owning goats is keeping them healthy, and the best way to do this is to examine them regularly and act fast when you see a problem developing. Look at each goat at least twice a day—during feeding time—searching for any change in routine or sign of illness or injury. This includes the eyes.
Eyes are a good way of revealing the presence of stomach worms. By examining the color of the inside of the lower eyelid of a goat, you can tell how badly the animal is suffering from bloodsucking stomach-worms. Parasitic stomach-worms result in heavy losses in flocks: they make the host animal anaemic, and the paler the color of the lower eyelid, the more serious is the infestation and the more urgent the need to treat the animal.
A bright red colour of the eyelid indicates either that the animal has few or no worms, or that the goat has the capacity to tolerate its worms. An almost white eyelid colour is the warning sign of very severe anaemia, as the worms present, the simple test for worms stomach are in such numbers that they are draining the animal of its blood. If left untreated, such an animal will soon die.
This year has been an especially rough year for parasites in our area. We use a holistic approach to parasite prevention and it includes diatomaceous earth and coconut oil with oregano and rosemary oils added along with water with a splash of apple cider vinegar.

It's a tough gig. I'm no expert but I'm a willing student opting in to full spectrum living.
What would it feel like to not move away from yourself when the internal wishes to speak? Mmmm. To deeply acknowledge yourself? Uhuh, the desire's there right.
It's experimental. Give it a whirl, without the need to shame and carrying with you a truckload of self compassion.
Rather than check the phone, carry out a mindless task, use distraction as a mask when we feel a discomfort within ourselves - stay close.
Opting in becomes the life-affirming habit.
And "stay close stay close stay close" becomes the mantra.
For real tho... Whenever I talk to people about how to simply care for their bodies, engaging the core and tucking your butt are the two most simple ways to protect yourself... And, walk with dignity (or, at least look like it). 🧘🏽♀️💜✊🏽🕉 @yogini_devon
