Besides being a yoga teacher, Evie is a professional actress. She started practicing yoga more than 10 years ago, finding a grounding asana and meditation practice extremely helpful in preparing for her performance. She found the encouraging energy of the teachers and yogis so inspiring that she trained as a teacher herself wanting to pass on her passion for yoga. Evie loves that a yoga practice allows people to stand a little taller, breathe a little deeper and love a little harder every single day. She teaches on Fridays at 5.30pm Hot Vinyasa and 6.45pm Relax and Unwind and Mondays 10am Hot Vinyasa.

It’s finally here. This Sunday we graduate and we’re officially yoga instructors. No words can express the amount of gratitude I hold for everyone, for all of this. 6 months of learning, listening, self-reflecting, and truly diving deep into the physical body along with mind and spirit.
I’m honored to guide y’all through these postures, and I hope to one day inspire someone they way my teachers have inspired me. Much love to all of you, my family, my teachers, my students, my peers, to everyone who has motivated me to continue my passion. This is only the beginning.

From downward facing dog, turn your feet to the right.
Push down strongly through the left arm and let your hips sway to the left.
Feel for length, expansion and a stretch through both sides of the body, but particularly on the right side.
It should feel like EVERYTHING is stretching - the muscles, the fascia, the skin and the joints ⬅️➡️⬆️⬇️↕️↔️ .

You always have the option to drop your back knee as well as bring your planted hand to a block to aid in twisting and stacking shoulders. A Hatha yoga class with vinyasa yoga influences based on Jimmy Barkan’s Method of Hot Yoga. This practice is a mostly set sequence consisting of five Vinyasa flows, balancing postures and floor poses. The sequence integrates many familiar postures from the Bikram practice, introduces new poses and adds variations to challenge, excite and help students become unlimited in their practice. The class is dynamic and challenging but suitable for all levels. New practitioners will quickly acclimate and experienced practitioners will be able to explore new depths physically, mentally and spiritually. 🧘🏼♀️

Think paradise and act paradise. So that paradise may manifest in your life as you will dance on the base of your energy.
Everything existing is in its essence life energy. It has been spoken about and has countless names: Qi, Ki, Prana, Kundalini (Prana moving along your spine) Orgone (by Wilhelm Reich), Holy Spirit, Tachyon, Mana, the Force, Ether, etc. whatever you may want to call it personally.
It is an all surrounding and pervading power.
In my afternoon special class we’ll greet our energy body and reconnect ourselves to it consciously through a simple and intuitive flow sequence.
Let me share with you bits of my discovered truths and let us return to sensing what is really going on in the now.
